"The death of one man is a tragedy, the death of millions is a statistic" --Joseph StalinKenji Goto was beheaded by the Islamic State and the West is appropriately shocked. The barbaric act was video recorded as a recruiting tool for ISIS because they know there are plenty of psychopaths and sociopaths who will want to be part of this horrible action. Japan has finally been touched by terrorism.
But Goto and the other unfortunate Japanese hostage are personal tragedies to their families while thousands have been and continue to be slaughtered by Islamic jihadists. This is not a new phenomenon; it has been going on since Muhammad's army grew from around 250 terrorists while in Mecca, to over 10 thousand terrorists when they moved to Medina. That's when Islam's "holy" Koran became unforgiving of non-Muslims and the rule of abrogation was employed.
