A Mini-Lesson on Islamic Justification for Killing Us

"The death of one man is a tragedy, the death of millions is a statistic" --Joseph Stalin
Kenji Goto was beheaded by the Islamic State and the West is appropriately shocked. The barbaric act was video recorded as a recruiting tool for ISIS because they know there are plenty of psychopaths and sociopaths who will want to be part of this horrible action. Japan has finally been touched by terrorism.

But Goto and the other unfortunate Japanese hostage are personal tragedies to their families while thousands have been and continue to be slaughtered by Islamic jihadists. This is not a new phenomenon; it has been going on since Muhammad's army grew from around 250 terrorists while in Mecca, to over 10 thousand terrorists when they moved to Medina. That's when Islam's "holy" Koran became unforgiving of non-Muslims and the rule of abrogation was employed.

Abrogation is interpreted by Muslim scholars in different ways, usually dictated by who is in the audience. When there are only Muslims in attendance, they say that all the softer (earlier) verses were abrogated and supplanted by the harsher (Medina era) ones, such as "Slay the idolaters wherever you find them . . ." (9:5) is said to abrogate at least 114 softer suras (verses).

The opposite is true when the audience is composed of non-Muslims. Then the scholars quote such suras as: "No compulsion in religion . . ." (2:256).

The Islamic scholar Arthur Jeffery wrote: "The Qur'an is unique among sacred scriptures in teaching a doctrine of abrogation according to which later pronouncements of the Prophet abrogate, i.w., declare null and void, his earlier pronouncements. The importance of knowing which verses abrogate others has given rise to the Qur'anic science known as "Nasikh wa Mansukh," i.e., the Abrogators and the Abrogated." ("Islam: Muhammad and His Religion," p. 66).

Thus, it should be evident that, depending upon which Islamic scholar is interpreting the Nasikh wa Mansukh, Muslims will be directed either to accept other religions or kill infidels.

When Obama and his cronies said that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and the Islamic State is not Islamic, they were hoping you don't know much about Islam. They know al-Baghdadi has a PhD in Islamic Studies and that he's doing exactly what Muhammad would do if he were alive today. They tell you that Islam means "peace" but they know it means "submission."

The terrorists are winning, not because they are stronger, better armed or smarter. They are winning because we are throwing the fight. We have a president who gladly meets with the Muslim Brotherhood, a known supporter of terrorism, but refuses to meet with Bibi Netanyahu, a known ally.

Jordan says that it will kill jihadist prisoners if their pilot was killed by ISIS. This may not stop future beheadings, but it will get the respect of ISIS leaders. Obama needs to take Jordan's example and make it ours. We need to stop playing at war with these barbarians and start killing them here and there and everywhere.

Or they will continue to kill us one-by-one.

Rest in peace, Mr. Goto.
