Trump on abortion is an abortion: called DeSantis' abortion ban a "terrible mistake"

Let's get one thing clear, if Donald Trump gets the Republican nomination he will get my vote. There is no Democrat, especially the houseplant known as Joe Biden, who should be president. But this doesn't mean that I agree with Trump on every issue--and anyone who does is suffering from cognitive dissonance.

Conservatives, that is, real conservatives, believe in the sanctity of life. People on the left believe in the sanctity of the Party and would vote for a turd if it was shaped like a "D" and running for office, which in some cases it does.

Former President Trump is refusing to commit to national abortion restrictions and said that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' signing of a 6-week ban on abortion is a "terrible mistake."

I respectfully disagree as do most conservatives.

Trump appeared on NBC's "Meet the Press" where he refused to say if he'd support a federal ban on the killing of babies in the womb or shortly after their exit.

He said he could “live with” the procedure being banned by individual states or nationwide through federal action, though he said “from a legal standpoint, I think it’s probably better” to be handled at the state level. That's not much different from people like the late New York Gov. Mario Cuomo (D) saying that as a Catholic, he is against abortion personally, but as a public servant he supports the procedure.

Sorry, the killing of the innocent unborn is immoral and should have no boundaries. Cuomo is saying that he is willing to sacrifice his morals for the will of his constituents.

Specifically discussing the bill DeSantis signed which bans abortions before many women even know they're pregnant, Trump said,  “I think what he did is a terrible thing and a terrible mistake.”

Well, it may be a mistake for DeSantis in an attempt to grab the independent vote and the vote of Democrats unimpressed by the non-sentient person currently in the White House, but it's a clear indication that DeSantis, like him or not, stands by his principles and his own Christian faith.

DeSantis posted on X regarding Trump:
“If you want to appease Democrats, here’s your guy. If you want to defeat the Democrats in 2024, (DeSantis) is the only choice.”
That may or may not be true, but if you didn't see that the gloves were off between these two, it's obvious now,

A campaign spokesman, Andrew Romeo, distributed to reporters a roundup of conservative groups criticizing Trump and accused him of repeatedly compromising with Democrats.

“Republicans across the country know that Ron DeSantis will never back down,” Romeo said.

“We’re at a moment where we need a human rights advocate, someone who is dedicated to saving the lives of children and serving mothers in need. Every single candidate should be clear on how they plan to do that,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America.

I will say again that if Donald Trump wins the GOP nomination, which is very likely, he will get my vote. He has done a number of remarkable things while in office, but I see DeSantis as the better candidate and the real Republican in spite of the fact that Trump referred to himself as “the most pro-life president in American history.” Trump gets credit for his three SCOTUS picks while in office, but DeSantis gets my vote in the primaries.

Hillary Clinton wants NYS to legalize abortions up to birth!

The 2016 presidential loser to President Trump
Hillary Clinton is a disgusting person and while she isn't on the campaign trail [thankfully] she is trying to use her influence to push for legalized about right up to birth. I guess the cries of one's baby should not deter pro-abortion women to kill their newborn children.

The witch announced plans, on Sunday, to help New York Gov. Andrew "The Dolt" Cuomo push a immoral, unconscionable pro-abortion bill in his state.

"I'll be joining Gov. Cuomo as he lays out his plan to codify Roe v. Wade and pass the Reproduction Health Act,"  Clinton wrote on Twitter. “There’s no time to wait.”

Yes, kill 'em while you can because once you get them home, you're not allowed to do that.
Andrew Cuomo
Cuomo made no secret of his plans to ram the pro-abortion bill through the state legislature. He said he wants to see it pass within 30 days. His father, Mario Cuomo, when he was Gov. of New York for 189 years, once said that he's against abortion personally, but politically, he said he was pro-choice. So he wouldn't kill his own children, but it's okay if other people killed theirs. That makes no sense. [Mario Cuomo also said that conservatives "have no place in New York." Tolerance is a rare commodity among liberals.]

Pro-abortion lawmakers in New York have been trying to pass the radical pro-abortion Reproductive Health Act for years. New York is one of the most pro-abortion states in America. This bill would make the state even more pro-abortion if the legislation passes.

The bill would allow abortions on viable, late-term unborn babies for any “health” reason [which can often mean the mental health of the mother--that is, if having the baby makes her feel sad] and would keep abortion on demand legal in the state if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.

The Times Union reports the bill would end a decades-old law that would criminalize late-term abortions if Roe is overturned and replace it with new language allowing abortion on demand. State Sen. Liz Krueger, D-Manhattan, is the sponsor and wishes she could shout her abortion, if she had one, in front of the world.

“It would proclaim abortion as a fundamental right [for the mother, not for the life of the person inside her] and impose an extreme abortion agenda on all New Yorkers,” according to New York State Right to Life.

The legislation passed the Assembly but was blocked by the Senate Health Committee before it got to the floor for a vote last year, saving the lives of countless people who have since been born.
Mario Cuomo

Among the most radically pro-abortion parts of the legislation, it would create a very loose definition of viability that could allow unborn babies to be aborted up to birth. According to a New York RTL analysis of the 2013 bill, which is basically the same as the current legislation:
“Roe v. Wade defined viability as the potential to ‘live outside the mother’s womb, albeit with artificial aid.’ RHA states that viability will be subjectively determined by the ‘licensed healthcare practitioner’ and no ‘extraordinary medical measures’ are required to help the child survive outside the womb. ‘Extraordinary medical measures’ is not defined.”
It also would end limits on late-term abortions by allowing third-trimester unborn babies to be aborted for all “health” factors including “physical, emotional, psychological, familial and the woman’s age.” So if the mother feels "sad" about becoming a responsible mother, she can kill her baby even after he or she exits the birth canal and enters the outside world.

Additionally, the bill says the state cannot “deny, regulate or restrict” abortion, not even for common-sense reasons such as parental consent for minors, informed consent or limits on taxpayer-funded abortions. This works great for Planned Parenthood whose name is an oxymoron because they plan to end the possible parenthood of the expectant mother. It's kind of like the "Start" button on a PC. It's actually the "End" button when you think about it.

Pro-life groups fear for medical workers’ rights as well. According to New York RTL, the bill does not provide conscience protections for religious hospitals or insurance companies, and medical workers could be forced to refer women for abortions.

Cuomo and Clinton both advocate for abortion on demand. During her miserable failure in the 2016 presidential campaign, Clinton not only pushed for abortion to be legal for any reason up to birth but also for taxpayer-funded abortions.

Thank G_d she lost . . . literally.

It's a new year and the world still hasn't come to an end with President Trump in the White House, in spite of what the media and the left [but I repeat myself] would have you believe.

Andy Cuomo fails to see the irony invoking Pope on death penalty

New York's special governor
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (Democrat, of course) said this week that he would put forward a bill to abolish the death penalty in the state "in solidarity with Pope Francis," but as far as the pontiff's stance on abortion, "he can go to hell," Cuomo said in a now deleted tweet.

The death penalty on babies in the womb doesn't count to hypocrites like Cuomo and his progressive scumcrumpets.

Pope Francis decreed Thursday that the death penalty was "inadmissible" in all cases. He said the Catholic Church would work "with determination" to ensure the practice ended around the world. [Yeah, good luck with that in the Middle East, Your Holiness].

Cuomo is a "Cafeteria Catholic" and only follows what suits him for reelection. The Church views abortion as a grave sin while Cuomo sees it as good business for Planned Parenthood.

Cuomo crayoned an op-ed against capital punishment in 2004 for the disgusting New York Times.

Cuomo tweeted on Thursday:
"The death penalty is a stain on our conscience. Today, in solidarity with Pope Francis and in honor of my father, I will be advancing legislation to remove the death penalty from NY law once and for all."
Mario Cuomo, Andy's late father, vetoed legislation reinstating the death penalty a dozen times. But New York State continues to kill babies in the womb and many progressives in the state [Hillary Clinton included] want to pass legislation to allow partial-birth abortion to be performed, almost until the end of the pregnancy.

In July, Cuomo reaffirmed his commitment to defending a woman's right to kill her unborn child by announcing NY State would sue if the Supreme Court rolled back or repealed Roe v. Wade decision.

What the blockhead governor doesn't mention is that the states retain the right to allow for the killing of the unborn, but the federal government would not sanction it. So his state could go on performing abortions and those in states that oppose the killing, can travel to New York State, or any state that permits it.

But I'm putting the chicken before the horse. It's highly unlikely that the Roe v. Wade decision would be overturned if Kavanaugh is confirmed for SCOTUS.

Some progressive's argue that it's hypocritical to oppose abortion and support the death penalty. They refuse to consider the differences between the innocent and the culpable--it's that simple.

You don't punish your baby for your failure to act like an adult.

FBI reportedly investigating NY Gov. Cuomo

According to the Albany Times-Union, senior staffers who were hired to work for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo were allegedly listed and being paid by other state agencies. This would make Cuomo's staff and budget look smaller than it actually was.

So the Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into the hiring practices, with an actual investigation.

The administration was subpoenaed for documents months ago and rather than stonewalling, as the FBI is ironically doing with the House probe, they are cooperating, according to Cuomo spokesman Rich Azzopardi. He said that other New York governors, presidents from both political parties and even the U.S. Department of Justice have done the same thing for decades.

The FBI responded to Azzopardi saying: "If the other governors, presidents and even the U.S. Department of Justice told you to jump off a bridge, would you do it?"

"In this environment, anyone can ask about anything," Azzopardi said. Fortunately, neither he nor his boss, Andrew Cuomo, have been alleged to have performed sexual misconduct.

"Given that the federal Department of Justice and the White House have a long history of utilizing this practice, perhaps the FBI can investigate them when this charade is over," Azzopardi said.

The Times-Union reported that some employees in Cuomo's office were already interviewed by the FBI. The outlet said the practice was "particularly widespread" and Cuomo's father, Mario (aka "Mahbone") Cuomo, who was governor of NY from 1983 to 1994, used the same tactic.

So it seems as if New York State is a Cuomo monarchy, eh? And then there's the special-ed Cuomo, Chris, who works for the Careless News Network (CNN).

Andrew Cuomo is seeking a third term as governor next year and has finally gotten the hang of it. He may run for president in 2020 along with everyone else in sports and entertainment.
