Andy Cuomo fails to see the irony invoking Pope on death penalty

New York's special governor
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (Democrat, of course) said this week that he would put forward a bill to abolish the death penalty in the state "in solidarity with Pope Francis," but as far as the pontiff's stance on abortion, "he can go to hell," Cuomo said in a now deleted tweet.

The death penalty on babies in the womb doesn't count to hypocrites like Cuomo and his progressive scumcrumpets.

Pope Francis decreed Thursday that the death penalty was "inadmissible" in all cases. He said the Catholic Church would work "with determination" to ensure the practice ended around the world. [Yeah, good luck with that in the Middle East, Your Holiness].

Cuomo is a "Cafeteria Catholic" and only follows what suits him for reelection. The Church views abortion as a grave sin while Cuomo sees it as good business for Planned Parenthood.

Cuomo crayoned an op-ed against capital punishment in 2004 for the disgusting New York Times.

Cuomo tweeted on Thursday:
"The death penalty is a stain on our conscience. Today, in solidarity with Pope Francis and in honor of my father, I will be advancing legislation to remove the death penalty from NY law once and for all."
Mario Cuomo, Andy's late father, vetoed legislation reinstating the death penalty a dozen times. But New York State continues to kill babies in the womb and many progressives in the state [Hillary Clinton included] want to pass legislation to allow partial-birth abortion to be performed, almost until the end of the pregnancy.

In July, Cuomo reaffirmed his commitment to defending a woman's right to kill her unborn child by announcing NY State would sue if the Supreme Court rolled back or repealed Roe v. Wade decision.

What the blockhead governor doesn't mention is that the states retain the right to allow for the killing of the unborn, but the federal government would not sanction it. So his state could go on performing abortions and those in states that oppose the killing, can travel to New York State, or any state that permits it.

But I'm putting the chicken before the horse. It's highly unlikely that the Roe v. Wade decision would be overturned if Kavanaugh is confirmed for SCOTUS.

Some progressive's argue that it's hypocritical to oppose abortion and support the death penalty. They refuse to consider the differences between the innocent and the culpable--it's that simple.

You don't punish your baby for your failure to act like an adult.
