Iran has launched a missile attack on Jordan

Not mosques; missiles

“Seek overhead cover and shelter in place immediately,” the embassy warned.

On Thursday, Iran directed missiles toward Jordan. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps asserted that its forces had targeted the U.S.-operated Muwaffaq Salti Air Base. This strike forms part of a confrontation between Washington and Tehran that now spreads steadily across the region.

Jordan’s military reported that it had intercepted eight Iranian missiles before they could reach their intended targets within the kingdom. The U.S. Embassy in Amman responded with a nationwide security alert. It spoke of “missiles, drones, or rockets” in Jordanian airspace and instructed American citizens to take immediate shelter.

“Reports indicate missiles, drones, or rockets are in Jordanian airspace. Seek overhead cover and shelter in place immediately,” the embassy said. The launches caused a temporary halt in air travel.

All flights at Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport were delayed while Jordan dealt with the aerial threat. This assault on Jordan followed a wider Iranian retaliatory operation launched earlier the same day.

Tehran declared that it had sent a large barrage of missiles and explosive drones against U.S. military sites in Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Iranian sources claimed successful strikes on an aerial early warning system in Qatar, fuel storage facilities in Bahrain, and a Patriot missile battery in Kuwait. Iranian state media described the targets as “key infrastructure and facilities” linked to the American military presence across the Gulf.

At the same time, Reuters noted a drone strike on a camp belonging to the Iranian Kurdish opposition northeast of Erbil in Iraq. Another front opened in a conflict that expands with alarming speed.

These latest attacks arrived while the United States pressed its own military campaign against Iran. Iranian media described explosions in several cities, among them Kerman, Bushehr, Asaluyeh, and Bandar Abbas. The deputy governor of Bushehr province was quoted as saying that U.S. projectiles had struck areas surrounding the Bushehr nuclear power plant.

Several locations in the province, including the perimeter of the nuclear facility itself, came under fire in the most recent wave of American strikes. This widening exchange of blows follows consecutive nights of U.S. operations against Iranian military infrastructure. It comes after Tehran first targeted commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

The pattern now raises grave and entirely justified fears that the conflict is sliding into a broader regional war.

Iran claims responsibility for missile strike on US Consulate

Erbil, Iraq -- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for the missile attack that struck Iraq in the northern Kurdish regional capital of Erbil early Sunday morning, Iran's state media reported. They said the attack was against Israeli "strategic centers" in Erbil. So, since the attack was alleged to be against the Jews, it was okay in their little anti-Semitic minds.

The missiles targeted the U.S. consulate among other sites, according to the Kurdish regional government. The latest reports say the Fateh-110 ballistic missiles came from Iranian territory, which given the size of the explosions, this seems likely.

The attack on the US Consulate came as talks to revive the Iran nuclear deal that began in 2015 under then-President Obama and later quashed by President Trump. A last-minute Russian demand forced world powers to pause the negotiations for an undetermined period of time, in spite of leaving a largely completed text that would allow Iran to go nuclear in the near future, but not for now.

The missiles targeted the U.S. consulate‘s new building and a neighboring residential area. Only material damage resulted and one civilian injured. An Iraqi security official said the missiles were manufactured in Iran, and the Iran government does not deny sending us their "gift."

Iran‘s Revolutionary Guards released a statement taking responsibility for the missile attack against Israeli "strategic centers" in Erbil, Iran‘s state media reported.

"Any repetition of attacks by Israel will be met with a harsh, decisive and destructive response," the Revolutionary Guard said in the statement, causing PINO Joe Biden to drop a deuce.

A U.S. State Department spokesperson called the missile attack on our Consulate an "outrageous attack" but said no Americans were hurt and there was no damage to U.S. government facilities so, "no harm, no foul. We forgive you. Please stop trying to kill us."

Meanwhile, the US has sent Javelin missiles, firearms, ammunition and other weapons of war, but refuse to send aircraft because it's somehow different and might make Vladimir Putin angry.

Jihad by immigration without assimilation

The plan is to relocate Muslim immigrants into the US at a rate of 100,000 per year and now the Obama administration plans to increase and accelerate the number of Syrian "refugees" who might make the cut (in possibly more ways than one) by opening screening locations in Lebanon and Iraq.

What could possibly go wrong?

The latest brainstorm came after our so-called president pledged in September to admit an additional 10,000 more Syrian "refugees" in 2016. Now the State Department confirmed the plans to open a processing center in Erbil, Iraq before the new year, and resume processing in Lebanon in early 2016, according to spokesperson Danna Van Brandt.

The Obama Muslim Brotherhood folks didn't say how many more "refugees" (that is, young Muslim men, mostly, who enjoy roasting kebabs over an American flag fire) they would seek to admit beyond the 10,000 figure, but you can bet your cross, Ganesha statue or mezuzah that it's going to be as many as can fit in the towns and cities slated to take them in.

The notion that the Obama administration is going to vet every "refugee" is laughable. We can't even get the TSA to vet passengers with dummy bombs, let alone 100,000 young jihadists from a country where having an actual birth certificate means you're a snob.

Senator Grassley (R-Iowa) is trying to persuade his colleagues to limit funding for transporting "refugees" from Syria due to security concerns. Grassley sent Sens. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) and Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) a letter demanding they impose "firm limits" on funding allocation.
"I urge that you, as part of the appropriations legislation before the committee, require, as a condition for any funding for refugee resettlement for Syrian refugees, a comprehensive plan on how security will be achieved. Furthermore, not one dollar should be expended until stringent parameters for vetting these refugees are established."

The Syrian conflict began in 2011 with anti-Al-Assad protests that evolved into a full-blown civil war. Since it began, 50,000 people have died and about 4 million have been driven abroad as either refugees or "refugees," the latter using scare quotes because the demographics imply these young men are not quite refugee material (use your imagination and knowledge of Islamic conquests).

Most of those who have fled Syria have taken residence in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan, while many have also fled to Europe where they will soon demand the implementation of Sharia and death to the Jews in town.

Just kidding--they'll wait on the last part.

So for now, we don't know the background of these individuals who will be arriving. We will not know if they have transmittable diseases or illnesses, or even terrorist group ties. Residents in the towns where they will arrive have the right to know who their new "neighbors" are, but they're not being told.

Special arrangements will have to be made to accomodate the needs of the school children. Virtually all of the children do not speak English--but then again, neither do most American kids.

And parents will demand the schools provide Halal food. (How come the Jews never demanded Kosher food?) Then as their numbers grow (because some men may have as many as 4 wives, and those who don't, still have lots of kids) they will try to impose Sharia law, as I mentioned.

But let's not forget that President Obama issued an executive memorandum on November 21, 2014 to all federal agencies directing them on "Creating Welcoming Communities and Fully Integrated Immigrants and Refugees."

Notice he used the word "integrated," not "assimilated."

Now it begins, America .  .  .  the immigration jihad.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong.
