Fish lips look of discontent |
Florida Rep. Kat Cammack (R) made the Democrats look stupid over the current debacle with the vote for Speaker. She pointed out that the Party of the Donkey enjoys the GOP infighting.
“Diversity of thought is a good thing,” Cammack said. “It’s one of the things that sets us apart from our friends on the other side of the aisle. Yes, diversity of thought is a good thing.”
“But they want us divided,” she went on. “They want us to fight each other. That much has been made clear by the popcorn and blankets and alcohol that has come in over there.”
Now that was a shot in their collective guts and it really teed them off. Some wanted her statements removed but without a Speaker of the House, the rules are not yet in place, so she's not in violation.
In response to Cammack's comment, New York Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Commie went to a rum distillery and tweeted out a photo of herself [as she often does] thinking that she was making an intelligent rebuttal.

“The House adjourned for dinner and since Rep. Cammack already accused us of being lushes I decided to visit the local distillery [Cotton and Reed] with loved ones for dinner,” AOC, who loves herself some AOC, said, proving Cammack's statement.
Cammack was not intimidated, deterred, nor baffled by the brilliance of Capitol Hill's most prolific selfie-taking Reps. She went on an interview with Fox News' Harris Faulkner where she addressed her statement. “If it wasn’t true, why did they get so offended,” she teased, noting they had some receipts.

“AOC did prove my point in grabbing drinks yesterday,” Cammack said.
It's like the husband, who is accused of cheating, using it as an excuse to cheat "because [she's] gonna say that I did anyway."
Others had fun with the socialist and former bartender, but none as much as Cammack.

Faulkner said to Cammack, “You put them in their place yesterday, you had to call the place to order.”
“It must have hit a nerve,” Cammack said. “It’s no surprise here on Capitol Hill, a place where there are literally cubbies where members have tucked their alcohol aside, it’s no surprise to anyone.”
Voting continues and as of today and ten voting sessions, they don’t have a deal on the table yet for the Speaker.
