The bodies are still warm in Las Vegas after a shooter went all jihad, and the injured are still bleeding, but the Democrats immediately jumped on the anti Second Amendment bandwagon and called for gun control. It isn't time for gun control, it's time for mouth control.
Just shut up!
Those idiots don't even know the facts and they're already making this a political issue. What a bunch of morons. Tell us how more gun control would have prevented this lunatic from killing at least 50 and injuring at least 500 people.
We still don't know how the shooter, Stephen Paddock, 64, got his guns nor do we know if gun control would have had any effect on preventing the Las Vegas shooting.
Sen. Chris Murphy (Dimwit--CT) couldn't wait to issue a statement Monday morning claiming that "the thoughts and prayers of politicians are cruelly hollow if they are paired with continued legislative indifference." Murphy demanded Congress "get off its ass and do something," after the shooting.
What in the world could Congress have done that would have prevented this? It's obvious that asses shouldn't be calling others 'asses.'
Pocahontas also had to get into the act. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Duh--Mass.) also couldn't keep her forked tongue silent. "Tragedies like Las Vegas have happened too many times. We need to have the conversation about how to stop gun violence. We need it NOW." (Was she putting in a plug for National Organization for Women?)
But twice a loser and forever a cold-hearted miserable person, Hillary Clinton, was so insensitive that she attacked the National Rifle Association at a time when information on the shooting is low, people from the shooting are still dying (the death toll is now up to 58) and the NRA obviously has no connection to this shooting.
In a non sequitur she said, "Our grief isn't enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again," the phony anti-feminist wrote, putting politics first and foremost.
Clinton once again ensured the nation that we were correct in not allowing her to be elected for a job she is incapable of doing.
If these politicians wanted to take real action, they would first try to understand the motivation behind these terrorist attacks and go beyond the mindless so-called solution to a problem that isn't about making more laws to prevent the lawless from breaking those laws.
And the solutions need to go beyond reading from an index card our leaders pull from their breast pockets in their $5,000 suits about how they condemn the attack in the strongest possible terms.
Terrorists must laugh at those empty words.
