CNBC writer: Better to die alone than die less wealthy due to having kids

Yoni Blumberg is kind of a schmuck. No, wait--he actually is a schmuck.

In an article for CNBC updated on Thursday, Blumberg writes that kids really suck and implies that it's better to die alone and rich:
Your friends may tell you having kids has made them happier. They’re probably lying. Research shows that parenthood leads to a happiness gap. Maybe that’s because the pleasures of parenthood are outweighed by all the extra responsibilities, housework and, of course, the costs.

He suggests that cost may be keeping people from having kids, since Americans are having fewer kids nowadays--especially those Americans who kill their unborn kids because of the housework and cost incurred keeping the little guys alive. Gee, in New York State you can now kill your baby a minute before he or she makes it through the birth canal. Maybe in a few more years, a-holes like Andrew Cuomo will allow mothers to have their kids killed up to the 7th trimester. Why not? Same deal.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture noted in 2017, that a child born in 2015 is expected to cost the average middle-income married couple between $12,350 and $13,900.  This means that those parents would spend about $233,610 (in 2015 dollars) on a child through the age of 17, while lower-income families would spend about $174,690 on that child, while higher-income families would spend about $372,210.

Blumberg explains just how expensive children are in their first year, explaining that one parent [who reminds me of my spinster aunt who had a money management problem: she couldn't manage to spend money without a sense of dread] tracked every penny they spent and it totaled $20,000 in the first 18 months. [This same parent also saved their used teabags and used them again three more times to save on tea bags, albeit the tea became rather weak.]
Blumberg went on to discuss additional expenses such as cost for delivery of the baby [Planned Parenthood gets government money to kill babies to save potential parents the cost.]

And then, of course, there’s college.

So who in their right mind would want to part with that kind of dough?

People who cherish the idea of parenthood and don't see kids in financial terms like Blumberg. Maybe they see societal and personal benefits, not to mention the furthering of the human species and the love of a child.

The only benefit Blumberg sees in kids is their ability to take care of you in your old age. The finger-sniffer wrote:
“If you don’t have kids, in short, you’ll save a lot of money. Then again, you might lose it all to a nursing home when there is no around to take care of you.”
So it's better to die alone and rich than to die with your kids around you after they "cleaned you out."

What a selfish, disgusting weasel. Hopefully, he will follow his own advice and not spread his DNA around before he's gone.

I hope that 2019 will be the year you follow Brain Flushings and have a few laughs while you get a conservative viewpoint. Politics is the new NFL without the mindless kneeling and this blog will both inform you and hopefully entertain you bigly.

Hillary flat broke, working on another memoir & speaking tour

Nobody likes to see a former First Lady and Secretary of State down on her luck. It was bad enough when she and Bill left the Oral Office. Sure, he lost a lot when he had to go--the wine, the women, the spotlight except when he was with the women, but Hillary had it bad too.

No money. They didn't even have  two mansions to rub together. It was horrible.

Luckily for Bill, he always could find two things to rub together, but with Hillary, it was a different story.

After two miserable losses in her bid to become THE FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!! [sorry, I was pretending I was hearing her scream] she has to stoop to the level of having to write yet another boring book of bull disks just to put food on the table and go on speaking tours and show the world how she can make "crazy eyes."

Yes, Hillary Rodham Clinton, grandmother and the "World's Worst Candidate Ever" is writing another book and will embark on her barking tour sometime this year.

Publishing house Simon & Schuster [which may gain the reputation of becoming "Simon and Shyster" after Hillary publishes with them] announced that her forthcoming novel will be comprised of personal essays "inspired by the hundred of quotations she has been collecting for decades" possibly from Wikipedia.

The book will contain glorified "stories from her life," up to and unfortunately including the 2016 election, as well as "reflections on the future."

Perhaps they'll make a movie from the book. I hope they don't leave anything out, but legally, she's going to need to do just that.
"I can't wait to buy the book!"

"These are the words I live by," Clinton lied. "These quotes have helped me celebrate the good times and deepen my appreciation of all life has to offer. I hope by sharing these words and my thoughts about them, the essays will be meaningful for readers."

And unicorns alike.

I can't wait to read the chapters on Benghazi, Monica Lewinsky, Vince Foster, White Water, the private server, and oh, so much more.

But I won't buy the book--the Clintons already have a lot more money than they deserve.

Funny, Bill should have written the book "Hard Choices," not Hillary.

Giving Away the House

Everyone knows our economy is in the tank, jobs are at a low, and we are on the brink of a recession (unless you're like me and believe we're already there). Our country's debt is so bad, it makes waiting for Bluto to pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today, a good deal.

So why are we giving foreign aid to over 150 countries? Why are we giving $50 to $60 billion in foreign aid when we don't really have it? We're giving over $100 million each to countries like Kenya, Tanzania Nigeria, and Ruwanda. Why? We even give to ten countries who own a significant portion of our debt and we give to China and Russia. China could buy us, and we're giving them money.

But my biggest WTF is that we give $550 million in direct aid to the Palestinians. That's about $250 per person, or around $1500 per average household. On top of that, we give around $2.5 million to the United Nations, and you know what they must do with that money when it comes to Islamic charity, not to mention the personal charities of the Palestinian authority folks and corrupt dictators who pocket the money for themselves. I don't believe we give any foreign aid to our ally, Israel--now that's just Obama for ya.

We are a charitable nation. Our country gives away about $450 billion a year in charity, of which $150 billion comes from churches. Of these donations, $50-$100 million goes directly to individuals with need, rather than administration costs (bribes, etc.). Our country also has an imbalance in our world trade in which we have a deficit of around $250 billion and foreign nations make a profit from us. Why isn't this enough? This is the same as foreign aid and it does the same thing to create good relationships.

This has got to stop. It's crazy and it's hurting our economy. How can we expect to make up for a debt that is so huge, that to count that high one dollar at a time, would take 32 thousand years, just for the first trillion? Okay, that's worth another WTF.

Money---the root of all stuff

Microsoft Excel is an excellent program that can easily show you how long it's going to take before you end up in the Poor House. I did a spreadsheet for Thas and averaged what her daily intake was for two days in August and for September, thus far. She is busting her butt for nine to ten hours a day at a commission split that would make a pizza delivery boy LOL because he's doing better. So I'm in the living room writing my blog and she's in the office getting her papers together for a job she had considered to apply for several weeks ago until this one came along.
Let's face it, the Canadian economy sucks as much as that of the USA, except it sucks a lot colder in the winter. In order to get to work you need a car, or be willing to freeze body parts blue, and I don't just mean those body parts that turn blue for lack of usage, if you get my drift. It's only one day beyond the ides of September and I've already gone out and bought heat shrink plastic covering for the windows and terrace door. I anticipate snow as high as this door, and it's on the second floor.
So getting back to my opening point, the tent sale didn't make us rich or even pleasantly comfortable, but it served the purpose of warning us that a real job with a weekly salary vs. a job only paying commission, is the viable option.
I look forward to getting my permanent residency so I can begin helping out the cause, but it's taking so long.
Remember, every time you click onto one of the ads in this blog, I make a few cents--money that can be used for heating or food; money that, I can assure you, will not go to waste.
Click at will.
