NYC Mayor proposes 'mindful breathing' mandate while student academic scores are underwater

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) was bashed for his pet project requiring schools to mandate "mindful breathing" exercises in the hope that it will help them feel better about their failing grades and illiteracy.

Instead of focusing on math, reading, and other academics, the city will be forced to waste between two and five-minute breathing exercises every day for children in Kindergarten through 12th grade, as a way of coping with the stress caused by crime, violence, poverty, high cost of living, deteriorating services, failed education in their schools, and forced gender confusion.

"Two to five minutes. Think about that," Adams said during a press conference. "We're not talking about hours. Two to five minutes is a game changer."

Adams obviously sees education as a game. As a non-educator, he is obviously the best person to mandate a school activity, says nobody.

Some intelligent observers have criticized the hair-brained idea, as they point out the dire lack of academic progress students have demonstrated after the two-year deprivation of decent education caused by the forced lockout of students from schools during the pandemic.

Even the Tucker Carlson-less Fox News saw Adams' idea as stupid.

Kayleigh McEnany, co-host of Fox's "Outnumbered" on Wednesday said, "I just can't get on board. I somehow made it through many academic institutions without learning about breathing. I just think this is ridiculous. I think it comes from Mayor Adams having a pet project. Apparently he showed up for the debate, and he was doing his breathing and he was calm, and his opponents looked at him, according to the New York Post and said, 'We can't beat that guy. He's too calm.'" [After which he may have let go of his bowels and bladder, but I may have him confused with some other Democrat in Washington.]

"It may work for some. Absolutely. I'm not dismissing that," McEnany continued. "I just don't think it belongs in schools where we're talking about reading and math."

It clearly doesn't belong as a mandate, especially at a time after a national report card was issued showing the reading and math scores for 13-year-olds has crashed to their lowest rate in decades after the forced lockout of students due to Covid mandates. 

Math scores hit their lowest rate since 1990, and reading scores dipped to their lowest since 2004, and continue to spiral down since the 2020 Covid lockout.

Thankfully, however, important people such as Nancy Pelosi, Gretchen Whitmer, AOC and Gavin Newsom were not affected by the rules that were imposed during the Covid lockdowns.

Data indicated the students tested scored an average of 256 out of 500 in reading and a 271 out of 500 in math, compared to 260 in reading and 280 in math from just three years prior.

But at least Adams is focusing on having the children breathe and contemplate their navels. 

"Look at sunset. Get water in eyes. Become enlightened."

Ottawa, Canada -- Millions of white supremacists of all races and creeds all throughout Canada have gathered along roadsides and in Ottawa, the nation's capital, to support white supremacist who refuse to go along with the COVID-19 vaccine and mask mandates issued by the virtuous government led by Justin Trudeau. 

As you might know, Prime Minister Trudeau has honored black Canadians by identifying as one of them on many occasions and even colored himself black to prove his virtue and love for black people [and the photo below should dispel any doubts you may have about Justin Trudeau's sincere love and respect for the black burden of being a victimized group]. 

So don't think for one moment that Trudeau's motives may be compromised by a need for power.

The people in downtown Ottawa have set no fires, broken into no stores, and committed no violence except for one person who drove his vehicle into the crowd of demonstrators and injured four white supremacist demonstrators who held up signs with anti-mandate slogans. This only shows that they can't even keep from fighting amongst themselves and do not even have the same kind of commitment to their so-called cause as Black Lives Matter and Antifa, both virtuous organizations that are willing to prove their commitment to their cause by "lighting up the man."

When asked for comment by Justin Trudeau he could not be found and is assumed to be out in the streets fighting for the freedom of the government to do what they know is necessary to save the country. Specifically, they must make all Canadians comply with the vaccine and mask mandates, or else. 

How dare they tell the government what to do with their kids

The vaccine will save lives because although it cannot stop the evil virus from infecting anyone who receives it, nor stop that person from infecting anyone else who has had the vaccine and even wears a Costco mask or any type other than a medical N95, it is how Canadians can show the virus that they mean business and maybe it will go away and never come back another day.

Because if you wear a mask, have at least 3 doses of vaccine, and still can get and spread the virus, that will prove to the government of Canada that you're on their side. 

And that's all we ask.

Gillibrand outed for not wearing a mask in NYC restaurant; vows 'to do better'

 The mask mandates are stupid, many of us would agree. But the most annoying thing is how some people on the Left who call for the mandates, believe the rules don't apply to them because they are part of an elite hierarchy the rest of us don't enjoy. They flagrantly ignore their own rules and things they say about the claimed efficacy of masks in the time of Covid.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) told Fox News Digital that she would "do better" in the future after a restaurant owner in New York City posted a video of her "blowing past [the] manager" and ignoring signs requiring masks. Had that video not existed, you can bet she wouldn't have pretended to be contrite. 

"We all need to do our part to help stop the spread of Omicron and that means following state and local guidance," Gillibrand lied Fox News Digital. "That includes me and I will do better going forward."

Masks don't stop the spread of coronavirus very well, nor do vaccines, although they appear to assuage the more severe symptoms. As far as omicron is concerned, wearing a mask is like trying to stop mosquitos from flying through your chickenwire fence.

The restaurant in question is the Innovo Kitchen. The frustrated owner, whose business could be shut down if he fails to comply with the stupid mandate, vented his frustration on the restaurant's Instagram.

"The problem with NY politics in a nut shell. My Senator blowing past my manager before she can even ask her to put a mask on. Walking right past a really big sign that says 'masks required to enter,'" the owner wrote.

"The masks are a mandate from the Governor. As good citizens, agree or not, we must follow our leaders. Her guest is graciously wearing one. I guess Senator Gillibrand thinks that the Governor is wrong or she is special and above the rules," the post continued.

No, the restaurant owner is wrong. Gillibrand doesn't think the governor is right or wrong, she just thinks the rules "are for thee, but not for me." After all, she a U.S. Senator and you are not.

Gillibrand is a loud proponent of the vaccine and for getting boosted against COVID-19 as the omicron variant rages making the vaccine, boosters and masks basically irrelevant. But you and me still have to comply.

"Protect yourself and help ease the strain on hospitals and health care workers. Get vaccinated and boosted," the hypocrite said in a Twitter post this week.

People are getting fed up with this nonsense and pretty soon it may show. It may take the midterm elections or the people simply to damn mad to comply.

Biden calls on businesses to "Institute vaccine requirements" after SCOTUS blow

Having the worse approval numbers for a U.S. President in 2,620 years, Joe Biden (D) released a statement, concurrent to his release of thundering flatulence, on Thursday calling for private employers to force their own vaccine requirements on their workers now that the Supreme Court blocked his unconstitutional, dictatorial, useless, anti-science 'vaccine-or-test' mandate on businesses with over 100 employees. [Inhale-Exhale]

“I am disappointed that the Supreme Court [a separate branch of government that keeps morons like him in check] has chosen to block common-sense life-saving requirements for employees at large businesses that were grounded squarely in both science and the law,” Biden said, lacking even a shred of evidence that he knows what he's saying. “This emergency standard allowed employers to require vaccinations or to permit workers to refuse to be vaccinated, so long as they were tested once a week and wore a mask at work: a very modest burden.”

So you get vaccinated and spread the virus anyway. How is testing going to do anything that would make a difference to the spread of the dreaded sniffles?

“As a result of the Court’s decision, it is now up to States and individual employers to determine whether to make their workplaces as safe as possible for employees, and whether their businesses will be safe for consumers during this pandemic by requiring employees to take the simple and effective step of getting vaccinated,” the former Vice President mumbled. “The Court has ruled that my administration cannot use the authority granted to it by Congress [oh really?] to require this measure, but that does not stop me from using my [addled] voice as President to advocate for employers to do the right thing [in his uninformed opinion] to protect Americans’ health and economy. I call on business leaders to immediately join those who have already stepped up – including one third of Fortune 100 companies – and institute vaccination requirements to protect their workers, customers, and communities.”

Joe Biden is a dangerous, and very dumb person who should be challenged by the 25th Amendment so that another, even less qualified person can take his place. Imagine the cackling that will happen if Hillary and Kamala debate each other head-to-head for the 2024 nomination.

The Democrats know who Biden is; they can't admit it.
