Here's the latest on Trump and the Bondi-Bongino kerfuffle

The D.C. swamp is bubbling over with drama, as I previously wrote, and President Donald Trump is DONE with the nonsense. The so-called "feud" between Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino is at a high fever pitch.

While Bondi got everyone's hopes up with the Epstein "client list," it turns out, at least according to Bondi and the administration, that no such list exists.

Trump, never one to sit quietly, took to Truth Social on Saturday to throw down.

The President's got Bondi’s back 100%, calling those Epstein files a sham cooked up by none other than disgraced ex-officials James Comey and John Brennan. His take? The Justice Department needs to stop chasing ghosts and get to work. "Let’s not waste time and energy on a guy nobody cares about anymore," Trump blasted, waving off the Epstein hype. He’s got bigger fish to fry: rooting out voter fraud, digging into the “rigged” 2020 election, slamming ActBlue, and locking up the violent criminals wreaking havoc.

Some people believe that Trump is trying to distract from the Epstein saga and it's possible, but I don't think so. The reason is, President Trump is a known entity and if his name was on such a list, he would shrug it off and say that he was merely a visitor of the island and Epstein put every visitor on the list. You remember when he told the NBC [or whatever network] guy that when it comes to women, he "grabs them by the #@ssy," so why would he worry about the Epstein clusterfrack?

Anyway, the president’s not here for the media’s gossip mill, either. He’s calling out the rumor-mongers as desperate operatives trying to splinter the MAGA movement. "My team is united," he roared, doubling down on the America First vibe.

Trump’s got no time for distractions, his administration’s already crushing it with a booming economy, a locked-down border, and a fired-up American spirit. Oh, and don’t come for FBI Director Kash Patel, either. Trump’s got his back, accusing the left of trying to kneecap him. As for Bondi? "She’s doing a great job and to let her do it," he said, plain and simple. So, buckle up, guys because Trump is telling everyone to tune out the noise and keep their eyes on the prize.

Here's the latest skinny on Bongino and Bondi regarding their tense meeting

Holy huffing, Bartman; the drama’s heating up in Trump’s inner circle, and it’s juicier than a reality show finale.

The rumor is FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino went full fireball in a closed-door showdown with Attorney General Pam Bondi and Trump’s Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. The discussion was about those sketchy Jeffrey Epstein files.

According to conservative outlet, The Daily Wire, Bongino is livid with how Bondi’s handling the Epstein case. We’re talking ultimatum-level rage here, a source close to the deputy director says he’s ready to resign if Bondi stays.

Apparently, during this spice-level ten meeting, Bongino got so heated he stormed out after raising his voice at Wiles and trading "heated words" with Bondi. However, another source swears Bongino was "enraged" but didn’t yell at either woman, and a White House official backed that up, saying no shouting match went down with Wiles. So, was it a scream-fest or just a tense vibe? I suspect Dan was civil to the ladies because that seems to be how he's made.

The real kicker? The Department of Justice dropped a bombshell, claiming there’s zero evidence Epstein had a client list, blackmailed big shots, or got whacked, rather than have committed suicide. So there is allegedly no list, no conspiracy, nada. I don't believe that due to the level of scumbaggery Epstein had, and the likelihood that he would keep a client list to have leverage over his island visitors.

Bondi is catching hell for earlier comments that had people thinking she had Epstein’s "client list" just chilling on her desk. She tried to clear the air at a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday:
"In February, I did an interview on Fox, and it’s been getting a lot of attention because … I was asked a question about the ‘client list’ and my response was, ‘It’s sitting on my desk to be reviewed, meaning the file, along with the JFK, MLK files as well. That’s what I meant by that."
Smooth, Pam, real smooth.

She also minimized concerns about a missing minute from the Metropolitan Detention Center footage, saying it’s no biggie:
"We learned from the Bureau of Prisons that every night they redo that video,” she said on Tuesday. “So, every night the video is reset, and every night should have the same minute missing."
Bondi’s promising more footage to prove this is just standard procedure, but the optics are suckworthy. Meanwhile, Bongino’s allegedly gunning for her head, but sources close to Bondi say she’s not going anywhere. The White House is circling the wagons, too, with Principal Deputy Press Secretary Harrison Fields throwing out this gem on Friday:
"President Trump has assembled a highly qualified and experienced law and order team dedicated to protecting Americans, holding criminals accountable, and delivering justice to victims. This work is being carried out seamlessly and with unity," Fields told Fox News. "Any attempt to sow division within this team is baseless and distracts from the real progress being made in restoring public safety and pursuing justice for all."
Translation: "Nothing to see here, folks, move along." But with Bongino ready to throw hands (or at least walk out), this isn’t over.
