Mike Waltz: Zelensky was "incredibly disrespectful"

In a Compromised News Network (CNN) interview Sunday, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said that the idea the Trump administration "ambushed" Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was "absolutely false" and that it was Z's demeanor and behavior during the meeting that mucked things up. Even Zelensky's body language, his arms crossed tightly across his chest, his facial expressions and the like, gave a message of contempt for Trump and JD Vance, and it was this that derailed the event.

Waltz made the remarks to Dana Bash on “State of the Union” when asked about how things could get back on track between the United States and Ukraine after the blowup in the Oval Office on Friday.

“What was so, I think, stunning to all of us in the Oval Office was that it was not clear Zelensky was going to go to negotiations at all, that he would ever be able to negotiate with Putin, and whether he shared our goal of ending this war,” Waltz said.

“So, what I made clear, as Secretary Rubio and I said, look, this cannot proceed, was that this was a huge missed opportunity for him and for his country,” he added.

Waltz explained that Zelensky could have left the meeting on Friday with a deal in hand as he went back to Europe to meet with President Macron of France and with Prime Minister Starmer of the United Kingdom “where they were talking about European boots on the ground, security guarantees for Ukraine, a positive movement towards ending this war, and having Ukraine and the United States being bound together for a generation economically.”

He said the President was clear that Zelensky will be welcomed back to the White House when he is “ready to truly engage for peace.” It was not clear to the Trump administration that he wanted to negotiate an end to the war with Russia and that Zelensky's  “demands of security guarantees” were a potential roadblock.

“And, further, coming to the Oval Office, with the body language, the shaking of head, the kind of the arms crossed, we just found it incredibly disrespectful,” he said. “We were ready to sign that deal.”

“I want to address directly that this was some type of ambush,” he continued. “It is absolutely false. We had negotiated the minerals deal in the weeks prior. It was difficult, but it was done and finalized and ready to be signed in the East Room.”

This is not the first time Zelensky has rejected the minerals deal with Trump. In fact, it was the third time and the administration was simply fed up with the Ukrainian leader's attitude and his lying.

Biden's surprise trip to southern border--I mean Ukraine

Alleged President of the United States, Joe "C'mon Man" Biden, arrived in Ukraine in the wee hours of the morning east coast time. It was a secret trip, [even to Joe, I suspect] where he found himself visiting Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky and his lovely wife.

The meeting was very brief due to Biden's limited attention span, and by 7:00 am eastern, he was back on Air Force One and homeward bound after speeches were made, hands were shook and hair was sniffed. Biden mumbled something about the US's solidarity with Ukraine and promised our continued support of the war even if Americans were against it.

The visit to Kyiv, of course, was top secret--even CNN was not told of the visit this time--as Russian missiles were hitting all over the place. 

We were being tricked into believing that Biden's advisors tried to discourage him from making the trip, but it's a poorly kept secret that Biden's advisors are actually his handlers. He supposedly told them, 'C'mon, man. If our brave Ukrainian breedzarbothems can deal with Corn Pop and his gang of Black dudes, I can go and support them, G_d willing. I mean it."

Rumor has it that the White House quietly went through back channels and let the Kremlin know that Joe was coming to Ukraine, so as not to scare him or possibly even start World War Three and end up having Kamala Hahahaharris running the country. 

Meanwhile, neither Kamala nor Biden has actually visited the actual southern border where terrorists and others walk into the country unabated. And it seems that Biden's handlers are more interested in the optics with Ukraine than accomplishing anything valuable with the trip. Let's face it, other world leaders have visited Zelensky while Biden was at home trying to read Teleprompters without screwing up.

Of course the Democratic media tried to make Biden a brave dude, kind of like Prince Harry.

At least Biden is not yet willing to deplete our air power by sending fighter jets to Ukraine even as Zelensky keeps pushing him to do so. 

Putin appears unrelentless about staying in the fight with Ukraine. The eastern part of Ukraine has been a bloodbath over the week with heavy losses on both sides.

Something tells me that if our leaders had to actually be on the battlefields leading the fighting, there would be no wars.

Israel preparing to evacuate 75,000 Ukrainian Jews

As tensions mount and Biden naps, Israeli officials have started to prepare for the possible evacuation of Ukrainian Jews because if the Russians invade Ukraine, the Jews will be in immediate danger. If it should come down to an evacuation, it will be the largest one in 30 years.

According to a Haaretz report, representatives from the office of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, the foreign office, defense, diaspora affairs and transportation ministries, the National Security Council and the Jewish Agency met on Sunday. The discussion concerned the threat level currently being faced by Ukraine's Jewish communities. 

The meeting also included officials from Nativ, an organization that maintains ties between Israel and Jewish communities in the Former Soviet Union.

The groups assessed that approximately 75,000 Ukrainian Jews qualify for Israeli citizenship via the Law of Return. The largest concentrations of Jews are in and around the cities of Kyiv, Odessa, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk. It’s obviously not known how many Jews would choose to leave for Israel or move elsewhere, but those who decide to stay need to have their heads examined because there are signs that Putin is going to invade and heads will roll.

The problem is that at present Israel cannot know if evacuation would even be possible if war breaks out.

The report indicates that Israel had contingency plans in the late '80s for an emergency airlift of a large number of Jews from the Soviet Union, and these plans are being reconsidered and currently updated to suit the circumstances that now exist.

Unfortunately, Haaretz stressed that although there is an obvious threat of war, the Ukrainian Jews have not indicated a willingness to get out of Dodge, as it were.

The last time Israel had a major airlift was Operation Solomon, in May 1991. This was a covert operation that extracted 14,000 Ethiopian Jews within 36 hours during a civil war in the country.

The Ukrainian situation looks somewhat bleak. Russia has around 100,000 soldiers at their border and it's looking a lot like incursion as Putin clearly wants to seize large swaths of Ukraine and remove President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian President, and replace him with a comrade. Bernie Sanders has been considered for the job, but Putin decided he's too old and talks funny.

Due to pressure from the person behind the curtain, Biden has put 8,500 ground troops on high alert for possible deployment to Europe. Biden has also told families of diplomats to leave the country and has basically evacuated the US embassy in Ukraine, like he did in Afghanistan, all in less than a year.

Putin and China's dictator, Xi, no longer worry that the US has an unpredictable president to deal with while they slowly expand their power and dominance globally. Trump is gone and now they have an old, confused, mumbling, bumbling "Puppet POTUS" who considers himself blessed when he finds his way from bed to the White House bathroom and makes it all the way before it's too late.

Finding his way back to bed takes longer, but that's when he's most useful to the nation.
