Another Day, Another "Misunderstander" of the Religion of Peace

Folks, here we go again.

Two West Virginia National Guard troops—deployed to the nation’s capital to help keep order—are now fighting for their lives after a targeted ambush just blocks from the White House. The alleged shooter: Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan national who arrived in the United States in September 2021 during the Biden administration’s chaotic withdrawal from Kabul.

And yes, witnesses say he was screaming “ALLAHU AKBAR!” as he opened fire.

Here’s the chilling play-by-play, per law-enforcement sources cited by the New York Post:

“According to sources, Lakanwal waited for the Guardsmen to turn a corner, opened fire, shot a female Guardsman in the chest, then allegedly took her firearm and shot her point-blank in the head before firing at others. Another Guardsman was hit in the neck before a third managed to take him down.”

The FBI and D.C. police are investigating this as a “possible act of terrorism.” Metropolitan Police executive assistant chief Jeffrey Carroll described it bluntly: “It appears to be a lone gunman that raised a firearm and ambushed these members of the National Guard.”

For months, progressive politicians and activists have been screeching that sending the National Guard into Democrat-run cities constitutes “authoritarianism” and an “invasion” of the streets. Funny how that rhetoric sounds a little different when the troops themselves become the targets.

And then there’s the inevitable question that the legacy media will do everything in their power to memory-hole: How is it that so many “misunderstanders” of Islam keep misunderstanding it in exactly the same murderous way?

We’re told—endlessly—that Islam is a “religion of peace,” yet a shocking percentage of global terror attacks continue to be carried out by individuals shouting the same Arabic phrase before they start shooting, stabbing, or blowing themselves up. At what point does the “tiny minority of extremists” excuse collapse under its own weight?

President Trump, not mincing words, immediately called for a full reinvestigation of every Afghan refugee admitted under the Biden-Harris evacuation:

“WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump has called for a reinvestigation of all Afghan refugees admitted under the Biden administration following a Wednesday shooting near the White House that critically injured two West Virginia National Guard members in what D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser described as a targeted attack.”

Good. Start vetting. Actually vetting this time.

Early reports from West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey briefly—and terrifyingly—suggested both troops had died, but he later clarified:

“We are now receiving conflicting reports about the condition of our two Guard members and will provide additional updates once we receive more complete information. Our prayers are with these brave service members, their families, and the entire Guard community.”

Prayers indeed. These men and women put on the uniform to protect us. The very least we can do is demand honest answers about who we’re letting in—and why the same deadly pattern keeps repeating itself while politicians and the press pretend it’s just one giant coincidence.Enough with the platitudes. This isn’t “senseless violence.” When the perpetrator screams “Allahu Akbar” before executing a cold-blooded ambush on American soil, the sense is tragically, infuriatingly clear.

Time to face reality instead of reciting the same tired “religion of peace” talking points while our troops bleed two blocks from the White House.

Entire W. Va. Supreme Court justices impeached

They look so innocent and nice
Trials will be held in West Virginia beginning next month for all 4 Supreme Court justices in spite of Democratic efforts to remove the charges against some of them, which were rejected.

The state Senate voted on Tuesday voted down a resolution to drop the articles of impeachment against Robin Davis, who retired soon after she was impeached last month by the House of Delegates.

The vote was held after Senate President Mitch Carmichael, ruled in a separate resolution that to censure justices Beth Walker and Margaret Workman, rather than subjecting them to impeachment trials, was out of order. Had that resolution been approved, they would have kept their seats on the court and continued their miscreant behavior.

Trial dates are set for Oct. 1 for Walker, Oct. 15 for Workman, Oct. 29 for Davis and Nov. 15 for suspended Justice Allen Loughry.

The Senate, comprised of 34 members will serve as a jury and some from the House of Delegates will serve as prosecutors. If convicted, the justice would be disqualified from holding public office but will not be banned from Twitter and will be permitted to say anything at all, so long as it is against POTUS, Kavanaugh, Pence, Fox News or the NRA.

Democratic lawmakers, who hold minorities in the House and Senate, and who are hoping to get illegal aliens into West Virginia to vote Democrat, have characterized the impeachments as an "unprecedented power grab by the GOP," Fox News reported.

The reason for impeachments in these cases stem from questions involving office renovations for the justices. Davis spent a whopping $503,000 in taxpayer money; Loughry spent $367,000; only $131,000 was spent by Walker; and a paltry $113,000 by Workman.

Evidently, they installed swimming pools and saunas in their offices.

The questions became accusations or corruption, incompetence and neglect of duty.

The aforementioned censure agreement made with House managers was announced earlier Thursday, but Ohio County Republican Sen. Ryan Ferns, objected to a resolution to approve the agreement because he said it would be premature to make a decision without hearing any evidence. After some back and forth, Carmichael agreed.

Loughry was the only justice at the Tuesday hearing. A 25-count federal indictment against him alleges, in part, that he repeatedly lied about using his office for personal gain.

A fifth justice, Menis Ketchum, [aka Denis the Menis Ketchum] resigned in July and pleaded guilty in August to a felony count of fraud related to his personal use of a state vehicle and gas fuel card. He faces up to 20 years in prison. Imagine his embarrassment when an inmate named Tiny asks him, "Hey, what aya in for?" and he tells him, "I used a government car and gassed it up with a government gas card."

Don't drop the soap, Menis, and maybe get a few interesting face tattoos.

The departures of Ketchum and Davis ahead of a deadline for justices to step down or be removed means their replacements will be decided by the voters, not gubernatorial appointments. A special election will be held in November.

If the Senate convicts any other justices, Gov. Jim Justice [seriously] would name their replacements. And with a name like "Big Jim Justice," you know he's going to make the right choices.

And they took Kris Paronto's Twitter account away for tweeting the truth.

Developing: Bernia and Donald kicking butt in W. Va. and Nebraska

Sanders gives the "Black Power" salute to BLM
Bernie Sanders, the socialist darling of the Democratic party, is kicking Hillary's substantial butt in Tuesday's West Virginia presidential primary.

Hillary, for all her brilliance, told coal miners that she will be putting them out of work and their coal companies. It's no wonder the coal miners voted for Sanders; he told them he would increase their pay, give them free car towing when and wherever they needed it, and send their kids to free college.

He will be discussing his tax plan once in office, he promises.

Donald Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee, will presumably win West Virginia too, as the two remaining candidates, Ted Cruz and John Kasich, became the cannotdidates. The Donald also won Nebraska by "a lot."

Trump has already won 30 state primaries, but there are a number of conservatives who will not vote for him and will effectively give their vote to the leftist Hillary Clinton, if she doesn't get indicted for her illegal private email server.

Trump gave no victory speech, made no deals, and tried to stay away from using big words and long sentences. He mentioned Paul Ryan, the House Speaker. "I have a lot of respect for Paul," he said on the O'Reilly Factor. "He loves this country. He wants to see something good happen to this party."

Sanders just kept yammering on about Wall Shhtreet.
