Reporter flips 'the bird' at Marco Rubio

Thomas Escritt

They're not supposed to pick sides, are they? The media's sacred duty is impartiality and all that noble nonsense. But let's not kid ourselves; that ship sailed, sank, and got turned into reef long ago.

They take sides and they don't hide it.

Exhibit A: this Bloomberg reporter, Thomas Escritt, now enjoying his fifteen minutes of viral infamy for all the wrong reasons. Caught on camera flipping off Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Budapest on February 16.

Classy move in the front row, no less.

It's not exactly breaking news that the establishment press corps is a dumpster fire, but moments like this just add another charming footnote to their obituary. They still haven't figured out what hit them with Donald Trump's rise or the similar populist waves rolling across Europe. They keep wagering that this whole thing is a passing fad, like low-rise jeans or whatever else they missed the memo on.

As an aside, if you're going to throw someone the bird, at least commit to it with some dignity instead of spaz-flailing like a malfunctioning robot. The guy has since locked his X account, which is the modern equivalent of hiding under the desk.

Will he get fired? Now that would be the real shocker, wouldn't it? Color me skeptical. The media hates us. We don't care.

Pope demands Baltic states open to mass migration

A big, beautiful wall
Socialist Pope Francis has demanded the tiny Baltic states open their borders to mass migration Saturday as a way of keeping them from flooding the Vatican. He didn't actually say it that way, but hey, he isn't offering his own place for them to lay their weary heads.

Meanwhile, Estonia said it supports Viktor Orbán regarding the need to seal European borders against the civilization jihad influx. Estonia didn't actually say it that way, but hey, isn't that what this really is? Look at what happened in Germany.

The Pope continues to pontificate [which is where the word comes from--you know, the Pontiff] that "Christ himself asks us to welcome our brother and sister migrants and refugees with arms wide open." But the Pope [bless his socialist heart] seems to ignore the fact that resistance to an influx of mass Muslim migration has nothing to do with being "racist" or "xenophobic."

It is a resistance to the hijrah [or jihad by emigration].
When the Vatican looks like this, then the Pope
will lead by example
When Estonian Interior Minister Andres Anvelt was asked whether their tiny 1.3 million people favors a "Hungarian approach to immigration," with regards to keeping illegal aliens out with border fences, he  said "yes," and explained the reason is "To defend our country, certainly."

So while Pope Francis has the audacity to demand the country open up to mass migration, Anvelt didn't bow to the pressure of a person who preaches but doesn't practice. Anvelt said the border fences put in place by Hungary has slashed illegal immigration by over 99 percent and was protecting the continent, saying that asylum-seekers with no right to be in Europe must be kept out.

"I fully support [proposals asserting] that we have to address this problem outside the EU," Anvelt said in a TV interview. "We have to travel to third countries and start defending our border there, yes, and in defending our European values, start establishing refugee camps as well."

When Pope Francis allows illegal aliens from Islamic countries to obtain asylum in the Vatican, then we can take him seriously.

But seriously, this Pope is a flaming socialist and has also done nothing until this point to stop or punish sexual misconduct among his clergy.

Congress probes US funding for Soros groups

Billionaire leftist George Soros has allegedly meddled in European politics just like he meddles in U.S. politics. Now it has caught Congress' attention.

The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, raised concerns about Soros' involvement  of his empire deploying "tons of money and international heavy artillery" to push his radical far-left agenda.

Republican lawmakers in Washington have started asking questions about whether U.S. tax dollars are also being used to fund his projects in conservative-led Macedonia.

Rep. Christopher Smith (R-NJ) led House lawmakers in corresponding to Ambassador Jess Baily--an Obama appointee and obvious Soros-loving lackey--demanding answers. Also, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) expressed concerns about USAID money going to Soros' Open Society Foundations as part of much bigger concerns that the U.S. Embassy has been taking sides in party politics.

Big surprise, eh?

Lee wrote in a letter: "I have received credible reports that, over the past few years the US Mission to Macedonia has actively intervened in the party politics of Macedonia, as well as the shaping of its media environment and civil society, often favoring groups of one political persuasion over another."

One simply cannot imagine which political "group" (aka party) Lee may be referring to.

The concerns depict growing conservative pushback against the leftist's European operation.

It wasn't enough for the jerk to organize U.S. protests groups against conservative governance, he has to go 'all global' on us.

Last week, Viktor Orban attacked Soros' "trans-border empire." (Sounds a lot like an Obama ideology, doesn't it?) Orban is one of the European voices speaking out against the push by EU leaders to take in Syrian refugees and he has taken a lot of flak for his hardline stance.

Shame on Orban for wanting to keep Hungary safe again.

If it were up to Soros' Open Society Foundations, the entire EU would be entirely socialist with handpicked leaders ruling Europe. There would be no borders and no stimulation of corporate competition.

And Soros would still be a billionaire. But he hates that conservative Macedonia has a flat tax rate of a mere 10 percent and they greeted President Trump warmly with a pledge to work with him.

There's a citizen initiative called "Stop Operation Soros" which claims U.S. money has been funding hard-left causes in the country, including violent riots in the streets and a Macedonian version of "Rules for Radicals," their version of Saul Alinsky's leftist handbook that Obama has dog-eared since college.
