UN Candidate is a rabid anti-Semite, homophobe and hater of Western nations

Ambassador Hend Al-Muftah, a Qatari diplomat contending to chair the UN Human Rights Forum was recently exposed as an anti-Semite, homophobic, hater of Western nations, among other wonderful findings.

In a letter sent today to Federico Villegas, the president of the United Nations Human Rights Council, (UNHRC) UN Watch, an independent human rights monitoring group, called on the UN to reject her bid to become chair of a UN forum on human rights, democracy and the rule of law, because her ideology represents the exact opposite of those issues. The chair position will open at the end of November.

The letter addressed their ambassador's “racist tropes about Jews, bigoted attacks on gays, and disinformation and conspiracy theories about Western societies and liberalism.”

“Ambassador Hend Al-Muftah is a rabid anti-Semite who for well over a decade has been tweeting vile hate against Jews and gays, while spreading conspiracy theories and disinformation about Western countries. She is the last person in the world who should head a UN forum on human rights, democracy and the rule of law,” said Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch explained. 

UN Watch, based in Geneva, released a new report on Monday that documents a sample of Al-Fatah’s many bigoted remarks.

“The Jews focused their investments in industry and the media, and that is why they dominated, tyrannized and ruled the world,” this hateful creature alleged in one tweet.

“The American zionist controls the U.S. media,” and “thus it is well-targeted for achieving their anti-Islam everywhere!” she accused in another.

“We learned from a young age that the Jews are our enemies!” she said. 

[FunFact: this time she was telling the truth--anti-Semitism is taught to the very young in Islamic nations because it's part of Islamic scripture. In fact, the Qur'an often refers to Jews and Christians as "apes" and "pigs" and forbids Muslims from making friends with them.]

“To despicable lies, dangerous anti-Semitic tropes, discrimination against gays and disinformation, the UN cannot give sanction. On the contrary, hatred must be exposed and condemned at the highest levels,” Neuer said.

“Accordingly, we urge the UNHRC president to summarily reject the nomination of Qatari Ambassador Hend Al-Muftah to become Chair of the United Nations Forum on Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law, and we appeal to him and the Secretary-General — as well as to all UN member states — to denounce her bigotry,” the letter demands.

Unfortunately, Qatar’s chances of winning the post are high due to its influence at the UN in Geneva.

 Qatar sponsored a $20 million “Hall of Qatar” next to the UN Human Rights Council chamber, and its GDP dwarfs that of Bahamas and Togo, its two competitors for the post.

As a result, Al-Muftah was expected to easily secure the appointment in the coming weeks by the president of the 47-nation Human Rights Council, Villegas of Argentina.

“But now that Al-Muftah’s bigotry has been exposed, we trust that her bid will be rejected,” said Neuer, but he's probably wrong and the UN will continue being filled with anti-Semites, homophobes, and basic a-holes.

US pulls out of UN Human Rights Council: Haley disgusted with political bias

The Trump administration has withdrawn the US from the United Nations Human Rights Council. Our U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley called the 47-member council "a protector of human rights abusers, and a cesspool of political bias."

Well of course they are--they're made up of Islamic states and therefore are dedicated to anti-Zionism.

Haley said the move comes after a year where "we did not see any progress." She threatened to pull-out last year, citing years of U.S. complaints that the council is biased against Israel. [For more information as to why Islamic nations are biased against Israel and the Jews, see the Koran and Sunna.] This move, it must be noted, comes a day after the U.N. human rights chief denounced the Trump administration for separating migrant children from their parents in Obama and G.W. Bush style.

"I want to make it crystal clear that this step is not a retreat from our human rights commitments. On the contrary. We take this step because our commitment does not allow us to remain a part of a hypocritical and self-serving organization that makes a mockery of human rights," Haley said. "We did not make this decision lightly. When this administration began 17 months ago, we were well aware fo the enormous flaws in the Human Rights Council. We could have withdrawn immediately. We did not do that. Instead, we made a good faith effort to resolve the problems."

Trump has long been rightly critical of the UNHRC as it has shown a bias against Israel.

Haley slammed the Council for its "relentless, pathological campaign" against Israel.

I wouldn't call it pathological unless you consider orthodox Islam as such. It is clear in Islamic scripture that the Jews are to be hated and have been compared to apes and pigs. Israel is symbolic of the Jews and this is why many Muslims want it destroyed and all the Jews annihilated.

National Security Adviser John Bolton opposed the creation of the Council when he served as U.S. ambassador to the U.N. under George W. Bush.

"The U.N. Human Rights Council is headed up by some of the worst human rights violators in the world. They are actually in the leadership of the Council year after year after year," said Sen. James Lankford (R-OK). "They are anti-Israel, over and over again. That is their constant drumbeat. So, I get it, we can try to be there, so we can try to be a participant in it. But when you are there, we vote no ever time, and it just becomes a problem every time as well. So it doesn't seem to make a difference whether we are there or not there."

According to one senior official, the U.S. gave the UNHRC a year to reform and fix up its act, but it failed to do so. The official said the Council actually protects human rights abusers, allows them to serve on the Council and is clearly bias in rendering decisions. Countries such as China, Russia and Egypt have worked to undermine U.S. efforts and the Council has passed more resolutions this year condemning Israel than it has condemning Iran, Syria and North Korea COMBINED!

The Trump administration no longer wants to remain in the Council as it lends them credibility. We will only rejoin if it reforms, and the chances of that happening is practically zero to none.
