Biden, a cheerleader for Venezuela: eases sanctions, encourages oil drilling

If you thought President Biden is an ineffective leader you would be mistaken. The problem is, his effectiveness isn't about helping the United States, it's about helping the socialist country of Venezuela. Although the Biden administration is killing America's oil industry, raising prices at the pump, he is hoping to make Venezuela great again.

So Biden is lifting some of the sanctions on Nicolás Maduro, one of the worst socialist tyrants on earth, and Venezuela's oil giant PDVSA, a company which Russia mainly owns. This will allow more oil to flow from Venezuela and be exported globally where energy is depleting at a frightening rate.

Now it's safe to assume that all of the crap Venezuela has pulled for eight years is just water under the bridge and the US will not have to go to the trouble of removing all that filthy oil from beneath our own soil. Get ready for negotiations and for us to draw the short end of the ugly stick.

The Treasury Department is permitting Chevron to resume “limited” energy production in Venezuela after years of sanctions that have dramatically curtailed oil and gas profits that have flowed to Maduro’s government.

Earlier this year the Treasury Department again allowed the California-based Chevron and other U.S. companies to perform basic upkeep of wells it operates jointly with state-run PDVSA.

Under the new policy, profits from the sale of energy would be directed to paying down debt owed to Chevron, rather than providing profits to PDVSA.

So with all our untapped oil and Biden's refusal to allow the US to drill, we are instead allowing the Maduro dictatorship to cash in big time. It's funny [not] how Biden is making nicey nice to Maduro in spite of our standing with the legitimate president of Venezuela, Juan Guaido who was jailed for having won the presidential election over the current scumcrumpet heading the country. The same scumcrumpet who put many Americans in prison over the years he was in power.

But it's all politics for The Big Guy, just like it was all politics for him with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia who he once called a "pariah" after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Biden pretends to be tough, but he's like the pimply-face kid making internet threats on his keyboard.

Now that we're giving Venezuela the go ahead on oil production, Russia stands to gain and the war in Ukraine will not bode well for the home front.

But it's too late. The Treasury Department already authorized Chevron to increase drilling in Venezuela.

Joe Biden is not like your grandpa. He isn't the sweet, exaggerating old man who you smile at, wonder where that odor is coming from, and take with a grain of salt. He is a dim witted narcissist who has always wanted to be President and has no idea what he's doing, and even where he's at. He will do anything, say anything and lie with a smile, only to help himself.

He is a danger

DOJ arrests hundreds in Mexican drug cartel

A major bust on a Mexican drug cartel operating in the United States has been performed by the Department of Justice in what is known as "Project Python,"
Thus far, there have been over 600 arrests and 350 indictments for serious crimes. The operations of Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) were at the center of the operation, which was led by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

“Project Python marks the most comprehensive action to date in the Department of Justice’s campaign to disrupt, dismantle, and ultimately destroy CJNG,” Criminal Division Assistant Attorney General Brian Benczkowski announced.

He continued: “When President Trump signed an Executive Order prioritizing the dismantlement of transnational criminal organizations, the Department of Justice answered the call and took direct aim at CJNG. We deemed CJNG one of the highest-priority transnational organized crime threats we face. And with Project Python, we are delivering results in the face of that threat for the American people.”

Along with the arrests, the Treasury Department issued sanctions on businesses linked to the cartel this week.

"The United States is committed to preventing and combating narcotics trafficking globally. The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) yesterday designated four Mexican businesses pursuant to the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act (Kingpin Act) due to their links to the Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) and the Los Cuinis Drug Trafficking Organization (Los Cuinis), two of the most powerful drug trafficking organizations in Mexico," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo released in a statement earlier this week.

"The Kingpin Act blocks all property and interests in property within the United States, or within the possession or control of any U.S. person, which are owned or controlled by designated individuals or entities. The Kingpin Act also generally prohibits transactions or dealings by U.S. persons, or persons within the United States, in property or interests in property of designated individuals or entities," he continued.

Hopefully, this will be the start of the eradication of the nation's drug problems that have caused the deaths of so many Americans.

Treasury employee charged with leaking financial info on Trump team

Natalie Mayflower Sours Edwards, 40, a woman with a lot of names and a lot of brass marbles was arrested and charged by federal authorities. The charge was for leaking financial information regarding former Trump officials. Edwards was caught with her proverbial pants down and toilet paper on her shoes, as she was holding a flash drive containing damning evidence--the stolen information--prosecutors said Wednesday.

The made-for-TV arrest came in the wake of other high-profile, leak-related prosecutions under the Trump administration, and they have pledged to go on the offensive against leakers. President Trump referred to such people as "traitors and cowards," but has not said whether he plans to have them executed as traitors if found guilty.

Imagine if he did.

Natalie Mayflower Sours Edwards [aka: Natalie Mayflower Nina Pinta Santa Maria Sours Edwards] is a [or was a] senior official at the department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Imagine being a top dog in a Financial Crimes Enforcement Network and get caught committing a crime involving the finances of others. You cannot make this stuff up.

She is accused of illegally handing over to a reporter bank reports documenting several suspicious financial transactions, known as Suspicious Activity Reports [aka: SARs, not to be confused with the severe acute respiratory syndrome also known as SARS with a big "S"], from October 2017 to the present.

The financial transactions she pilfered and provided to a reporter [who remains anonymous] involved Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort, campaign official Richard Gates, accused Russian agent Maria Butina, and the guys and gals in the Russian Embassy.

Edwards saved the SARs, "along with thousands of other files containing sensitive government information," to a government-provided flash drive, prosecutors said. She allegedly transmitted the SARs to the reporter by "taking photographs of them and texting the photographs" using an encrypted app.

Very James Bond. Very Mitch Rapp. Very Brian Alexander [the hero of my next novel to be released sometime before Hell freezes over].

Although the journalist's name wasn't disclosed in court papers, the documents list over ten stories published by BuzzFeed News over the past 18 months, but a spokesman for the outlet declined to comment.

This case is likely the first criminal prosecution arising from leaks about targeted individuals by Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe in the Russia investigation. Gates pleaded guilty and Manafort was found guilty of various bank and tax crimes, having nothing to do with President Trump.

In a Wednesday hearing, federal magistrate judge Theresa Buchanan released Edwards and all of her names on their own recognizance, subject to the custody of her parents. She, along with her mom and dad, also signed a $100,000 bond as part of her release. Edwards faces two charges, each carrying a maximum sentence of five years in the slammer and a $250,000 fine.

Edwards is currently on administrative leave at Treasury, FinCEN spokesman Steve Hudak said.

"In her position, Edwards was entrusted with sensitive government information. As we allege here today, Edwards violated that trust when she made several unauthorized disclosures to the media," FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge William F. Sweeney Jr. said in a statement. "Today's action demonstrates that those who fail to protect the integrity of government information will be rightfully held accountable for their behavior."

Geoffrey Berman, U.S. attorney in Manhattan, where the criminal complaint was filed, said that Edwards "betrayed her position of trust by repeatedly disclosing highly sensitive information." She is alleged to have taken photos of the confidential documents and sent them to a reporter using an encrypted messaging app, according to court papers. This clearly shows she was aware of the illegality of her actions.

In addition, she also sent the same reporter internal Treasury Department emails, investigative memos and intelligence assessments, according to prosecutors.

According to court papers, federal investigators obtained a court order to monitor the calls to and from the associate director's personal cellphone, and that monitoring captured the frequency of contacts with the reporter via the encrypted messaging application.

If convicted, Edwards may continue working for Treasury from her prison cell along with several unnamed colleagues in cellblock B.

IRS took 3 years to release its hit list

It only took 3 years after the IRS admitted that they singled out conservative groups for extra scrutiny that would hopefully deny them their tax-exempt status, the corrupt organization finally released a near-complete list of the organizations targeted.

The list numbers 426 at this time and depicts just how much these jerks slow-walked applications for the tax exemption. The Treasury Department's inspector general had only identified 298 groups in May 2013.

The Washington Times was the first to report on the list, which was filed by the IRS last month. It was part of a class-action lawsuit led by Tea Party organizations.

The Times reported that 60 of the groups' names contained the word "tea," 33 contained the word "patriot," 8 used the word "Constitution" and 26 had the word "liberty" in the organizations' title.

One attorney working for one of the conservative organizations said that the number may have grown since 2013 as the IRS targeted more liberal groups after the investigation began to cover their butts.

Tea Party Patriots has once again called for the impeachment of IRS head, John Koskinen. The arrogant geek has no intention of giving up his cash cow.
