Bono: all ya need is love

All ya need is love and maybe a nice smile, a few kind words and you will disarm the terrorists who want to disarm you--by removing your arms and head.

And if you believe that, you pass the National Idiot's Test.

Bono (read: Bozo) of U2 rock band fame, was dining on the terrace of La Petite Maison restaurant along with other celebrities including Elton John. The restaurant is only a half mile from where the Nice seafront attack took place on Bastille Day.

Mohamed Lahouaie Bouhlel drove his 19 ton truck into the crowd in Nice killing 84 and wounding over 200 others.

Armed anti-terrorism cops "rescued" Bono and the other fabulously famous along with the mayor of Nice.

The following day, U2 tweeted, signed by all four band members including Bono: 

"Love is bigger than anything in its way."

Wow. How profound. All ya need is love.

Of course, Bono, et al, probably meant well--they didn't mean to sound like naive fools, but they did.

 It wasn't love that stopped that the jihadist who drove that truck into the crowd, it was the French police and their weapons that rescued them. Sure, the French police may have acted out of love of country and fellow man, but it was lead, not love, that stopped Bouhlel in his tire tracks.

But talking to liberals is like talking to the wall . . . or the Attorney General.

Attacker ID'd: you'll never believe his name

UPDATE: According to Jihad Watch, the driver was screaming "Allahu Akbar!" (Allah is greater) as he mowed down and shot at people. Is anyone with a brain surprised?


Well, we finally know the name of the terrorist truck driver who killed at least 84 people as the celebrated Bastille Day in Nice, France Thursday. Ten of the dead were children.

Mohamed. How shocking!

His full name was Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel. He lived in Nice, is from Tunisia and worked as a delivery driver before he delivered his jihad and killed so many innocent people who only came to watch the fireworks and have fun. 

The jihadist was 31-years-old and known to police for petty crime. Supposedly, he wasn't known to be religious, or suspected of being 'radicalized' but that may have changed since what he did was a radical 'religious' act which is prescribed in the Koran.

Sorry, someone has to say it.

The mainstream media is doing their best to soften the story by reporting that "many Muslims were killed in the attack." (See the Independent for example.)

Officials don't know if he was working alone but the truth is, anyone who is killing for Islam is working with fellow Muslims who are encouraged by the Medina-period Koran to perform to "kill them wherever you find them," referring to non-believers. 

There are no lone wolves when there are so many wolves killing people. They may show up one at a time, but they have the same goal.

Mohamed was a father of three and described as a loner. His family is being questioned by the police.

I suspect President Obama is preparing another speech about how he condemns such acts in the strongest possible terms. 

Hopefully, he will have the sensitivity not to mention the Crusades.
