VIDEO: Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu makes it clear-- "We are at war" and they will pay dearly

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on Saturday to Israelis and the world after Israel was attacked by the Iran-funded Islamic terrorist group Hamas. The event was a sneak attack carried out by Islamic jihadists on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah and Shabbat, the Jewish sabbath and day of rest.

Not so accidentally, the attack happened on the 50th anniversary of the 1973 war, aka Yom Kippur War, when the jihadis struck on the holiest day of the Jewish Calendar. That war lasted from October 6 through October 25th. With the help of the USA, Israel scored the victory, but there were severe losses on both sides. Estimates say that 2,656 Israeli soldiers were killed, 7,251 injured, according to the Jerusalem Post. The numbers for Islamists on the other side are not exact but it is estimated to be around 15,000 Egyptians killed and 3,500 Syrians also killed.

Bibi Netanyahu spoke in Israel:

“We are at war, not in an operation or in rounds, but at war. This morning, Hamas launched a murderous surprise attack against the State of Israel and its citizens. We have been in this since the early morning hours. I convened the heads of the security establishment and ordered – first of all – to clear out the communities that have been infiltrated by terrorists. This currently is being carried out.”

“At the same time, I have ordered an extensive mobilization of reserves and that we return fire of a magnitude that the enemy has not known. The enemy will pay an unprecedented price,” he continued. “In the meantime, I call on the citizens of Israel to strictly adhere to the directives of the IDF and Home Front Command. We are at war and we will win it.”

I hope he really means it--for too long Israel's response to blatant terrorist attacks have been carefully measured, because Israel knows they have a higher expectation to live up to in the global media. Hamas can fire rockets, sneak into Israel and slaughter families, and the media softens it. So Bibi has nothing to lose if he responds not only in kind, but in a massive attack that will show these terrorists that when they kill 100 Israelis, the IDF will kill 1,000 Hamassholes and destroy their homes.

So far, hundreds of Israeli citizens have been injured and many killed after several thousand rockets were fired into Israel from inside Gaza. Palestinian terrorists have also invaded Israel and hunted down Israeli citizens. 

Gun control is not a liberal issue in Israel, it's an issue of controlling one's gun in self-defense.

The Islamic terrorists invaded Israel by land, sea, and by air using paragliders, according to Israeli officials.

Fighting took place at Erez Crossing, Nahal Oz, Magen, Kibbutz Beeri, Rehim Army Base, Ziikim Army Base, and Kfar Azz, an Israel defense official said.
