Finally at 1:01 pm Smollett’s SUV arrived in front of the courthouse and he escorted his 92-year-old granny inside the courthouse as cameras clicked like crickets at a cricket porn show.
As his entourage reached the courthouse steps Smollett's goons began shoving reporters out of the way. One delicate reporter accused on of the bodyguards of "battery" for knocking down a photographer.
“Kind of a violent entrance, shoving and throwing people around,” this reporter said.
As Jussie Smollett walked toward the George N. Leighton Criminal Courthouse, his bodyguards got rough with some members of the news media. @davesavinicbs2 reports a bodyguard tossed down a photographer. Live updates: https://t.co/Ai6mFOSiAr pic.twitter.com/EHVTQFpbRwHopefully, this narcissistic race hustler gets to spend at least some time in jail, but he's black, he's gay, and he's an actor of sorts, so the chances of him going to prison are on par with Vladimir Putin getting run over by the entire Freedom Convoy in Moscow.
Before the judge issues the sentence, Smollett will get a final chance to speak on behalf of his fraud and maybe even cry a few crocodile tears if he can covertly pull out a nose hair without being seen doing so.
The best way for this crumb bun to show real remorse would be for him to admit his racial hate hoax and take his punishment like a man. But the chances of Jussie Smollett admitting his hoax are on par with getting hit by lightning at noon while riding the subway on a sunny day.
The good news is there were cameras allowed inside the courtroom today so the public can come up with their own conclusions as to whether the sentencing is appropriate. The city of Chicago wants more than $130,000 in restitution for putting the police through the wringer after Smollett made his false report that two white guys poured bleach over him, told him Chicago was "MAGA Country," and put a noose around his neck. Fortunately for Smollett, these two black men were in an alliance with him and the so-called attack, was a hoax.
Meanwhile, Smollett's defense council, Tina Glandian, filed a motion for a new trial over problems with the jury selection process in this case.
At this time 6:45 p.m. ET, the sentence has not yet been handed down, but local CBS reporting says that Smollett is not at all contrite.
Smollett sat with a mask on while his council did not.

The judge has been going into a long dissertation about what Smollett did. He said his name has become a adverb for lying. He also said Smollett committed perjury time after time on the stand. But while he attacks him
