Here they go again: Taliban captures 3 more provincial capitals, totaling 6

Islamabad -- The radical Sunni movement [radical in that they follow the teachings of their prophet Mohammad to the letter] known as the Taliban, continues to capture more provincial capitals in Afghanistan. On Monday morning they captured a sixth, known as Samangan. They did so without a fight after community elders pleaded with their leaders to spare the city from more violence after weeks of intense fighting on the outskirts, according to Samanani deputy governor of the province.

The Taliban were now in "full control and their spokes terrorist confirmed the city had been won by them.

“The governor accepted and withdrew all the forces from the city,” Samangani added, saying the Taliban were now in “full control.”

A Taliban spokesman confirmed the city had been taken.

On Sunday evening, after expelling government forces, the Taliban entered Taloqan, the capital of Takhar province, and hoisted its flag over the main square of the country’s seventh-largest city. No rainbow flags flew that day and nobody in the capital took a knee as the flag was hoisted.

So here's the score: over the past three days, the Taliban [pronounced by former President Barack Obama as "Tahleebahn" and Pakistan as "Pahkeestahn"] has taken control of capitals Zaranj, Sheberghan, Kunduz, and Sar-e-Pol.

The capture of Kunduz, the country’s sixth-largest city, is the biggest score so far for the Taliban.

Meanwhile, multiple rockets were fired at Kandahar International Airport on Saturday and Sunday, which Biden responded to by mumbling something about gun control and ice cream flavors.

It's the fifth time in three weeks that the airport has come under rocket fire. Fighting between the Taliban and Afghan security forces continues in Kandahar, Herat and Lashkar Gah.

It looks like Biden's plan to make peace with the Taliban is working. Just leave and let them have at it and they'll leave us alone.
