Never trust a donkey in elephant's clothing.
Former news anchor Kari Lake announced her candidacy in June on the GOP ticket in the Arizona governor's race. She is claiming that she's the "only conservative, America First Trump Republican in the race," but rather than proving her conservative beliefs, Lake has been spending the last few weeks defending the fact that she has a history of donating to Democrats such as Barack Hussein Obama and John "The Ketchup Gigolo" Kerry.
For those living on a Pacific island thinking the war is not over, both Obama and Kerry are not merely Democrats, they're flaming Democrats.
On June 15th, Lake accused a local reporter of conducting a "hit piece interview" when he attempted to confirm the contributions, saying the line of questioning was "unethical" and "slanted."

Of course it isn't unethical. It shows where she stands and it seems like she stands behind a manure spreader.
"I just think it's really interesting that the crux of this interview is about, ‘Wow, she's donated in the past. Or she might've voted Democrat before,'" Lake said. "Who gives a crap? Who cares?"

I cannot speak for anyone else, but if I lived in beautiful Arizona, I would care. She running for governor of the state and if she wins, she would have the power to affect the lives of a lot of people and they would give a crap and possibly a pee.
While Lake's campaign did not return a request for comment, she has explained her contributions to Democrats in other local interviews by saying she "was really excited about the first black president" and "thought the Republican Party had lost its way with the endless wars in Afghanistan and Iraq."
"I was so concerned that it caused me to change party affiliation from Republican to an independent and then for a short time a Democrat, but I returned to the Republican Party in 2012 and have been ever since," Lake told 12 News in June.

Financial disclosures show that Lake contributed a combined $850 to Kerry and Obama's presidential campaigns in 2004 and 2008, respectively. The 2004 donation marked her first ever political contribution. Lake officially left the GOP two years later, changing her party affiliation to independent ahead of the 2006 midterm elections, according to NBC's Phoenix affiliate. She went on to register as a Democrat in January 2008 and held the affiliation for four years.
She sounds confused. How has Kerry, of all people, get anyone, other than James Taylor, excited? And why did she contribute [and likely vote for him] to his campaign? He isn't Black and he certainly is far-Left.
And she appears to have voted for the most liberal senator of 2007 because he is Black. So it stands to reason that this faux conservative is more concerned with melanin than she is with political ideology.
If you vote for her, you are clearly voting for a phony opportunist who, like Joe Biden, speaks out of both sides of his mouth--only with Lake, she can put an entire sentence together.
Lake, a RINO, joins a crowded Republican field to replace outgoing GOP governor Doug Ducey. Additional candidates include state treasurer Kimberly Yee, businessman Steve Gaynor, and former congressman Matt Salmon, all of whom are more conservative than Lake.
