NY State Senate Majority Leader Waiting for 4th Accuser before calling for Cuomo's resignation

In a Muslim country, if a man rapes a woman she must have 3 witnesses of the crime in order to be believed, otherwise she can be stoned to death for adultery if she is married.

In New York State, the governor must have four women who claim to have been sexually harassed by him in order for the Democratic State Senate Majority Leader to call for his resignation. Three women just aren't enough when it comes to Democrats; four is the required number when it comes to Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D-Westchester) refuses to call for Cuomo's resignation unless another alleged victim of the governor's sexual improprieties comes forward.

Stewart-Cousins spoke on "Capital Tonight," a public affairs program in Albany, New York, the New York Post reported, where she drew the line at four accusers, for reasons only she knows. The program was recorded "just hours before CBS News broadcast a wrenching interview with one of Cuomo's three accusers," the Post wrote.

Her words: “Any further people coming forward, I think it would be time to resign.”

To her cowardly credit, Stewart-Cousins admitted that she just might ask for Cuomo's resignation depending on the findings of NY State Attorney General Letitia James' investigation into the allegations. The chances of James finding enough dirt on Cuomo to remove him from office is good since there's an excellent possibility that she might be hoping to get his job.

Stewart-Cousins’ remarks were taped just three hours before Albany’s CBS affiliate aired an interview with Charlotte Bennett, a former executive assistant and policy advisor to the Cuomo administration. Ms. Bennett said that Cuomo asked her inappropriate “questions about her sex life, whether her relationships were monogamous, and whether she ever had sex with older men.”

Before Bennett voiced her allegations against Cuomo, Lindsey Boylan, who also worked for him until she resigned due to sexual harassment, she alleges.

Compared to the unsubstantiated and even disputed allegations against a high school age Brett Kavanaugh, one woman making sexual misconduct claims should have been enough.

But who are they kidding?

The whole sexual allegations scandal is really a way for the Democrats and media [same old, same old] to distract the public from the real Cuomo scandal and that's the COVIDS-19 deaths caused by the governor's nursing home mandates in which residents with coronavirus were returned to their nursing homes and infected fellow residents.

That is the real scandal and we must never take our eyes off the ball.
