Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo (D-Hypocrite) is yet another power grabbing political person on the left who believes the rules only apply to everyone else and not to her when it comes to COVID-19. On December 7th, Pearl Harbor Day, she told the residents of the state to "stay home except for essential activities” and “wear a mask anytime you’re with people you don’t live with.”
Raimondo's "essential" activity is having a nice Chardonnay or perhaps a Merlot while people who don't live off the taxpayer's dime, are expected to stay home. On December 11th, the good gov was photographed enjoying a night out on that dime.
ABC-6 reported: “Erica Oliveras, who took the photo, says she and Governor Raimondo were both at Barnaby’s Public House in Providence on Friday night for a wine and paint night,”
Oliveras defended the governor's hypocrisy, saying Raimondo “only took her mask off whenever she was drinking her wine,” while everyone else was expected to stay at home.
A spokesperson for Raimondo's office told ABC-6 that she didn’t do anything wrong. “The governor had dinner at a local restaurant with her husband, and had her mask on anytime she was not eating/drinking,” Josh Block said.

But she could have had the wine at home, like she expected Rhode Islanders to do.
So another Democrat proves that what they say and demand of us, they don't believe pertains to them. And if that's the case, this shows they don't even believe the things they say, and they are despicable people.
One day after Raimondo attended the wine bar, Rhode Island Department of Health Director Dr. Nicole Alexander-Scott tested positive for COVID-19. Raimondo had appeared with Alexander-Scott on Thursday night so she self-quarantined NBC 10 News reported, but she may have infected others at the wine bar when she had her mask off.
In a Twitter post on Dec. 7, Raimondo wrote: “It’s week two of our pause. I know it’s been hard, but I want to thank every Rhode Islander who’s following our guidance. Please, stay home except for essential activities & wear a mask anytime you’re with people you don’t live with. Together, we can turn our case numbers around.”
So Raimondo joins the list of Democrats who got caught blowing off their own demands. The most notable of these is California's Gov. Gavin Newsom who, along with his current wife, attended a birthday party on Nov. 6 after he locked down the entire state, then later went to the ritzy restaurant French Laundry with over a dozen non-family members and after getting caught gave a smirking apology to the public.
In September, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, an elderly California Democrat, was caught without wearing a mask while inside an airport, even though she has called for a mandatory rule to require all airline passengers to wear masks. "Do as I say, not as I do."
And on Aug. 31, California Rep. Nancy "Dancing Hands" Pelosi (D-Dentures), who has long advocated for full lockdowns and a national mask policy, was caught going into a hair salon in California ordered closed by the governor and walking around without a mask.

The list goes on and on.
How can we take these jokers seriously?
