A somewhat low-functioning man, D'Adrien Anderson, 24, posted a photo of himself on Facebook licking an open container of ice cream and putting it back on the shelf. This has become a trend on social media among the young and the brainless last year and it may have been sparked by the genius of Ariana Grande, who was seen on CCTV licking a donut in a coffee shop and putting it back on the tray. Due to Grande's singing voice, she was not incarcerated.

The CCTV from the supermarket in Port Arthur, about 90 miles east of Houston, showed the mouth-breather later took the ice cream tub out of the freezer and bought it.

However, Anderson, obviously a 'Bernie Bro', was sentenced to 30 days in prison by the judge and handed him a six-month suspended sentence for the stunt.

In addition, Anderson was ordered to pay $1,565 to the ice cream company, who paid for the entire freezer of ice cream to be replaced after the video was viewed by 157,000 people online.

The media reported that the idiot and his sperm donor dad returned to the market to show the receipt as proof that they removed the virus-tainted ice cream. But police joyfully pressed charges of criminal mischief anyway.

Anderson pleaded guilty and on Thursday was fined a further $1,000 on top of his prison sentence.

“Anderson’s actions caused public concerns about the safety and quality of consumer products offered for public consumption, impacted Blue Bell [the ice cream company] consumer confidence and caused the company financial loss,” Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office said. “This type of activity will not be tolerated.”

Had this behavior occurred in Iran, Anderson would have been flogged 74 times.
