Schiff criticized over fake Trump probe

Adam Schiff (D-CA) is as believable as the Iranians in a uranium mine telling Obama they have no intentions of producing an atomic bomb. He is as believable as a prostitute's climax. As believable as politician's promise that [s]he's only looking out for you. And now Schiff is facing growing criticism in his mishandling of the whistleblower complaint and his overall handling of the Trump impeachment blah blah blah.

Schiff, who is the House Intelligence Committee chair, is leading the impeachment proceedings and was ripped a new one on Wednesday over the closed-door testimony of former US envoy for Ukraine Kurt Volker.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) stormed out of the hours-long deposition and told reporters that Schiff wanted to limit certain members from questioning Volker, thus rigging the testimony to only hear responses to Democrat's questions.

The congressman also said Schiff had barred State Department lawyers from participating in the closed briefing because he really isn't interested in hearing another line of questioning, nor of getting to the truth. All he obviously wants is to impeach the President and he will lie and manipulate the proceedings to do so.

“If this is how Mr. Schiff is going to conduct these types of interviews in the future,” Jordan said, “that’s a concern.”

I'd go one step further and call it a travesty.

Volker, who stepped down from his role last week, is the first witness in the congressional probe of the anonymous whistleblower complaint that included details of President Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.

In the call, Trump asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to probe the son of political rival Joe Biden.

Earlier Wednesday, Schiff was ripped by liberal commentator Sam Stein for not disclosing that he was aware of the complaint before it was filed. In fact, he lied about that to the media.

Congressional Democrats, however, have largely stood behind Schiff, and that's no different than a farmer standing behind a manure spreader.
