This latest attack is just one of what has become an almost weekly sport since the Hamas-orchestrated “Great March of Return” demonstrations began in March 2018.
Earlier this week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a Security Cabinet meeting at an IDF base near the Gaza border.
“Our policy is clear: We want to restore the calm, but at the same time we are also prepared for a wide-ranging military campaign, if it proves necessary,” he said. “These are my instructions to the IDF.”
It seems that right now, Israel has enough to deal with, aside from these Palestinian jihadis, as Iran gets frighteningly close to developing a nuclear weapon. Once that happens, you can almost bet the farm that they would use it to bring the return of Al-Hasan al-Mahdï, the twelfth imam, and get a free ticket to paradise.
The dude was born in 869--I don't think he's coming back--but the Shi'ites are hoping for a miracle.
