Kimmel still sucks at b-ball

In a mean-spirited sketch on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in which G_d and Satan condemns Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) to hell, television has lost all semblance of decency. But Cruz fired back at Kimmel after the sketch aired on Tuesday.

But Cruz, who beat Kimmel's butt in a one-on-one basketball game for charity and could like beat his butt in other ways, responded to the political crap that is disguised as entertainment.

Kimmel wasn't always the voice of decency and virtue in the media. The video above shows why.

Kimmel had former comedian Billy Crystal and frontman for Foo Fighters Dave Grohl in the sketch. Kimmel talks to Crystal who was playing G_d, before he calls Satan, played by Grohl, to play their favorite game of “Who Goes Where?

“Which one of us is going to get Ted Cruz?” Crystal asks.

After Grohl suggests a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors and loses, Crystal gives him Cruz.

“I don’t want him, Jimmy, that face for eternity?”

Cruz was quick to take to Twitter to respond to the job, noting that Kimmel may still be a sore loser after the basketball game they had earlier this year in which Cruz beat Kimmel 11-9 one point a bucket.

“Really getting into the Christmas spirit, Jimmy Kimmel just aired a skit with ‘God & Satan’ arguing and eventually deciding that I should go to Hell,” Cruz Tweeted. “It’s almost as if Jimmy’s feelings are still hurt that I kicked his a-- at hoops….”

"Senator Ted Cruz dribbles past Jimmy Kimmel during the Blobfish Basketball Classic and one-on-one interview at Texas Southern University's Health & Physical Education Arena Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Houston. Cruz challenged Kimmel to the game after Kimmel blamed the Houston Rockets playoff loss on the senator. Cruz won 11-9."

Kimmel and Cruz played some one-on-one basketball after the Kimmel compared Cruz’s looks to that of an ocean bottom-dwelling blobfish. The senator then challenged Jimmy "I Shoot Like a Girl" Kimmel to a basketball game for charity, which he obliged.

It was a big mistake on Kimmel's part.
