Ellison's problems complicate his DNC future

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) is a far left, Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan devotee, and a frontrunner to take over the Democratic National Committee. He is the first Muslim and to be elected to the House, but he is not the first anti-Semite, which makes him a perfect choice for the DNC position.

Now Ellison is facing serious questions not only about his sordid past but whether he can lead the DNC effectively without giving up his House seat.

Former DNC chairman "Screamin' Howard" Dean, is leading the call for a full-time leader and for Ellison to step down from the House if he gets the job. Dean ended his bid for the job and now wants to call the shots about the job. Interesting.

Dean who is a batcrap crazy 68 and a Hillary Clinton supporter, said that he dropped the DNC bid because the party needed a younger face and didn't want to get involved in an "ideological fight" between the party's establishment and anti-Semitic, more progressive wings. He believes that the job as DNC leader can only be done as a full-time commitment.
