The BDS movement, like another kind of movement, stinks of anti-Semitism. American and Canadian cretins are trying to prevent an Israeli cargo ship from docking on the west coast of the US and Canada, says Al Gore's favorite media midget, Aljazeera. The protesters, all creative geniuses, are calling the blocking of the ship "Block the Boat." Evidently, they don't know the difference between a ship and a boat, but they don't teach that in Human Sexuality class.
The good news is that for many of these so-called activists, they will come the closest they've been to water in months, I suspect, and maybe they will put it to good use, but I doubt it--they didn't often put mom and dad's college money to good use.
The shipping company, Zim, is Israel's largest, and Aljazeera had the opportunity to spew it's anti-Zionist venom all over itself by quoting the organization: "From its founding in 1945 by the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Histradut, Zim has served Israeli settler-colonialism, bringing settlers to Palestine and serving as Israel's only maritime connection during the 1948 war, supplying food, freight, and military equipment used of course to carry out the Nakba. The worldwide commerce conducted by Zim today funds the occupation of Palestine with revenue generated on every continent."
The Nakba is an Arabic word meaning "catastrophie." Arabs call the day (generally considered May 15th) as the Day of Catastrophie, because that is Israel's Independence Day and the day, returning to the land where Jews had been exiled two thousand years before, endured countless pogroms, expulsions from many countries, and religious persecution.
Muslims have always hated the Jews--it's something they are taught as children. Now we have Westerners who believe that they hold the moral high ground because they don't like the Jewish people to have anything for themselves, including their own lives.
There are no plans by the International Longshoremen and Warehousemen Unions (ILWU) to participate in this year's protest like they did in 2010.
