Looking Back at Nothing

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day yesterday and you all feel at peace in your life. As the year comes to an end next week, I look back at all that has taken place and realize that what's more relevant to what has taken place is that which has not taken place. Let me explain.

Many thousands of Americans still have the Benghazi banner on their Twitter Avatar. Millions of Americans, I suspect, want to know why Hillary Clinton has been able to walk away from this debacle without so much as a scratch. In fact, she's likely going to run for President in 2016, and if the GOP doesn't get itself together, she might be the next leftist dragging our nation down.

Hillary: "They were filming a video on Muhammad"
Nothing has been done for those of us who want answers to the many questions Benghazi has raised about our trust in the government and our leaders. The media has all but dropped the story about the Muhammad video and the unanswered pleas for help. Obama slept that night and Hillary did the same. At least four families have been so disrespected by them that it makes me want to puke.

The media has all but become part of the political debate about all issues. This is why the president, et al, have gotten away with their total incompetence in all things perpetrated by this administration. The media hasn't done its job in years.

Obamacare is still a mess and Obama is still changing the law as he sees fit. This is not the thinking of a leader of a fair democracy (fair as opposed to what Egypt was when Morsi was democratically elected), this is the thinking of a dictator. Now I'm not saying Obama is a dictator--he needs more time. I'm saying that the left is winning the battle of de-Americanizing our country, but you ought to go to Google and type in: "how do I apply for" and see what comes up.

While this administration brags about job creation, remember that for every "job" created under Obama, 45 people have gone onto food stamps. Obama joked about himself being a socialist. I didn't find it funny; I found it to be one of the few honest things he told the public.

Some other things that have not happened in 2013 have to do with getting answers to the "fake scandals" Obama claims them to be. The IRS scandal, the NSA, the Associated Press, and so on. It seems like it's taking forever for Obama to "get to the bottom of this." As the saying goes, let's not hold our collective breath.

This coming year is going to be a defining moment in our history. If the Democrats somehow get past the Obamacare debacle and win the midterm elections, I truly believe the country will become unrecognizable. But it will not work for long under socialism because we will run out of other people's money, as the saying goes.
