If unions can get Obamacare waivers, and people on Capital Hill can get waivers, and certain people in Nancy Pelosi`s congressional district can get waivers, what makes Obamacare a good thing if waivers are considered favors? People who can get out of it, get out of it. People in power who can get their friends or constituents out of it, get them out of it. So why do we need it? Who really wants it? Obamacare, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing.
The truth actually seems to be that not many people really want to be forced into Obamacare, but tough; many people on the left want you to have it. In fact, they want people who aren't going to actually need it, to get it first. They have to do that so they can pay for those older folks, people like me, who will need it and use it and have those youngsters pay for it.
The President's job is to uphold the law while it's congress' job to actually make laws. Obama keeps changing the law as he sees fit because, like the website, it isn't working out too well. That goes against his Constitutional authority, but since when has that stopped him?
So while today was supposed to be the deadline for getting online and signing up, it has been extended by Obama's official decree until tomorrow. I know that going online and signing up for Obamacare is in the forefront of people's mind with Christmas the next day--well, at least Obama hasn't made a big deal over Christmas--he calls it holiday time.
Now that guys can marry guys, gals can marry gals, and people who were guys and now girls can marry guys whether or not they were previously girls. The laws are sliding along toward the left and will continue to do so while Obama rules.
