Suspected Antifa sympathizer pleads guilty to detonating shrapnel-filled device by Alabama AG's office

A guy with lots of names, Kyle Benjamin Douglas Calvert, pleaded guilty in federal court to the malicious use of an explosive device that he had planted outside the Alabama Attorney General's office earlier this year. The device was loaded with nails and screws used as shrapnel in order to cause massive bodily injury to anyone in the blast area, the Department of Justice said.

Calvert, 26, of Irondale, Alabama, is suspected of having Antifa [antifascist] sympathies. He set the device off on February 24 in the early morning hours; fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The home-grown terrorist admitted he made the device himself and lit the fuse then retired quickly safely away from the area.

He was arrested on April 10th.

Calvert had posted Antifa fascist ideas on social media, stating the violence should be directed at the government and he even place Antifa stickers near the crime scene, the DOJ stated, although he claimed to have no affiliation with those scumcrumpets--a far-left organization that pretends to be an anti-Nazi movement while using fascist techniques for their ends.

Calvert faces between five and 20 years in prison. The case is being investigated by the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

"This defendant built a bomb using nails and screws as shrapnel and detonated it outside the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, endangering a public institution and members of the community," Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a statement. "Public servants should never be targeted for doing their jobs. The Justice Department will not tolerate such conduct, and we will use every resource at our disposal to prevent these attacks and hold perpetrators accountable."

Court documents also said the man was "dangerous" as he had "described his inability to control his own violent, aggressive impulses."

Some of the stickers allegedly posted by Calvert around the area included one that had "An Antifa logo superimposed over a rainbow flag background, with the words, "ANTI-FASCISM IS COMMUNITY SELF-DEFENSE," which makes as much sense as "SCREWING FOR VIRGINITY" makes sense.

Some of the sticker this idiot posted reportedly read, "DEATH TO FASCISM," "ARM THE HOMELESS," "F--K WORK LET’S RIOT!" and "NEVER WORK."

ATF Director Steven Dettelbach said Calvert perpetrated an attack on the American justice system.

"Violent, targeted attacks like this, aim to harm, whether physically or through fear and intimidation, the civil servants and public officials who serve our communities and country," Dettelbach said.

"ATF is committed to holding those who attack American institutions accountable. I commend the work of the ATF and all our federal and local partners in bringing this defendant to justice."

Netanyahu vows he will never surrender 'military and political assets in Gaza'

During a meeting with relatives of Israeli captives in Gaza and families of terror victims, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to resist intense foreign pressure to relinquish key strategic areas in central and southern Gaza in exchange for a hostage deal.

On Tuesday, after meeting with the hostage relatives, Netanyahu vowed that Israel would maintain control over these crucial regions in the Gaza Strip. He pledged to ignore both foreign and domestic pressure to reach a compromise with Hamas that would lead to a hostage deal and ceasefire.

Netanyahu declared that Israel would never agree to Hamas' demand for the IDF to give up control of the Philadelphi Corridor, which runs along Gaza’s southern border and separates the Gaza Strip from the Sinai Peninsula and Egypt. He also emphasized that Israel would not relinquish control over the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza, which divides Gaza City in the north from Khan Younis and Rafah in the south.“Israel will not leave, under any circumstances, the Philadelphi Route or the Netzarim Corridor, despite incredible pressure to do so. These are strategic assets, both military and political.”

Hamas has demanded that Israel withdraw from both areas as a condition for releasing hostages and has insisted that any agreement include a permanent truce to end the current conflict.

Tzvika Mor, the father of Eitan Mor, a security guard taken hostage at the Nova Music Festival on October 7th and held since then in Gaza, told Galei Yisrael that Netanyahu expressed pessimism about the chances of reaching a deal with Hamas.

“From what I could tell, the prime minister doesn’t think there will be an agreement. We also see that Hamas is consistently refusing, and in the meantime we are doing our best to hit Hamas until they are defeated.”

Israeli hostage had multiple gunshot wounds: were likely executed in captivity

The IDF disclosed to the bereaved families that at least some of the six Israeli hostages, whose bodies were recently recovered from the Gaza Strip, may have been murdered by their captors while under the custody of the Hamas terror organization.
This week, IDF forces operating in Khan Yunis recovered the remains of Alex Dancyg, 75, Yagev Buchshtav, 35, Chaim Peri, 79, Yoram Metzger, 80, Nadav Popplewell, 51, and Avraham Munder, 78.

Based on information gathered by the Shin Bet internal security agency, Israeli soldiers from the elite Yahalom special engineering unit discovered the bodies in a hidden tunnel in the southern Gaza city.

All six men were abducted from Kibbutz Nirim and Kibbutz Nir Oz, both of which are located near the Gaza border.

On Thursday, Israel National News reported that the IDF had informed some of the families of the six hostages that forensic examinations of the bodies revealed bullet wounds, suggesting that the victims were shot while in captivity, rather than dying as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Hamas positions.

The Israeli military estimates that some of the hostages were likely murdered in captivity after being brought to Gaza alive from Nirim and Nir Oz, while others may have been killed due to IDF airstrikes.
In a statement released Thursday, an IDF spokesman said that the estimates were based on “an identification process carried out at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine, together with the Israel Police and the hostages unit in the Manpower Directorate, which is in charge of supporting the families of the hostages.”

They got him! AZ man who allegedly threatened to kill Trump caught like a dog

A manhunt was launched Thursday in Arizona for a man that authorities say threatened to assassinate former President Donald Trump before a planned event in the state.

For those living in a cave or under a rock, there was an attempt on the life of Trump on July 13, where he was struck by a round that pierced his ear. Another individual, Corey Comperatore was killed and two other individuals were wounded but survived.

Since the shooting, President Trump will now be appearing behind bullet-proof glass at outdoor events because the Secret Service seems to suck at protecting him.

But in this case, Cochise County Sheriff's Office told Fox News Digital that 66-year-old Ronald Lee Syvrud has been taken into custody without incident at around 2:30 p.m. local time in Cochise County. The charges are pending but he has outstanding warrants from Wisconsin for DUI and failure to appear for the DUI, and for hit-and-run and felony failure to register as a sex offender.

The sheriff’s office said earlier that Syvrud has outstanding warrants from the state of Wisconsin for DUI, failure to appear for DUI and from Graham County, Arizona, for hit-and-run and felony failure to register as a sex offender.

Syvrud is listed on the Wisconsin Department of Corrections sex offender registry for "second-degree sexual assault of a child" with an Arizona address.

The sheriff's office posted on Facebook that Syvrud was being sought "as an investigative lead for threats to kill a presidential candidate," but did not elaborate. Fox News Digital later confirmed that the "presidential candidate" was Trump, so it stands to reason that this sex offending, DUI scumbag is, you guessed it, a Democrat.

Additional charges against the Democrat are pending.

As far as we know, there are no known ties to the Butler County, PA scumcrumpet, Thomas Crooks, other than they both are likely Democrats.

Trump is visiting the southern border in Cochise County, Arizona, on Thursday as part of his ongoing campaign for the upcoming November election. This week, he's been focusing on battleground states.

During a press conference on Thursday afternoon, Trump seemed unaware of the ongoing manhunt when questioned about it. He acknowledged that it might be "dangerous" for him to be there but added, "I have a job to do."

"I haven't heard about that. They probably want to keep it from me," Trump said, when asked about the manhunt. "Thank you for telling me. Let's get out of here, right now!" Trump joked. He thanked the reporter for telling him about it.

Trump then shifted his remarks to the assassination attempt in Butler, expressing his "great respect for the Secret Service" for their actions, stating they "jumped on top of me with bullets flying."

"I have great respect, but no, I haven't heard about that," Trump said, referring to the ongoing manhunt. "I'm not that surprised. And the reason is because I want to do things that are very bad for the bad guys."
The U.S. Secret Service told Fox News Digital it is aware of and tracking the manhunt in Arizona and referred all further inquiries to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office for further comments, including potential ties to Butler.

But now they got him and for now Syvrud will remain in custody and be closely questioned about the threat he made as well as the other legal problems he is facing.

Tim Walz is upset that JD Vance went to Yale

Tim "Tampon" Walz, the Democratic VP pick by Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, got extremely ticked off about Republican VP pick by Donald Trump, over the fact that Vance went to Yale, in spite of him being poor and pulling great grades at Ohio State. In fact, Walz is even miffed about Vance going to Ohio State, but the fact that he went on to Yale just shows us what an elitist he is.

It isn't as if someone born into a dirt-poor circumstance with a drug-addicted mother should be able to pull himself out of poverty and attend any school; but Yale? How dare he! Vance even wrote a book acclaimed by none other than Oprah at the time, and they made it into a movie, "Hillbilly Elegy."

Walz tried to paint Vance as "weird," when it seems to be the other way around. I mean, have you seen Walz wave at crowds, shake hands with his wife, call to have Tampons put in the boys bathrooms at Minnesota schools, lie about his military rank and bail out of going with his men to Iraq? Walz stood by while Minneapolis burned during the George Floyd riots, and he allowed to have the Third Precinct Police Station be taken over and destroyed by the BLM terrorists.

But when you got nothing to attack Vance with, you call him weird while it's your Party offering free abortions and vasectomies at the DNC convention.

JD Vance is a product of the American Dream and really hard to attack.

The best Walz could muster was: "I had 24 kids in my high school class and none of them went to Yale."

So? What does that mean other than the fact that none of them went to Yale.

And maybe they haven't been to Europe.

IDF finds yet more explosives inside UNRWA supplies near Gaza school

IDF soldiers from the 59th Battalion discovered a cache of weapons that include explosives, suicide vests, and intelligence documents, while conducting searches near a school complex, the IDF reported Thursday afternoon.

Additionally, the soldiers found UNRWA sacks containing hidden explosives intended to target IDF soldiers.

The fighting 162nd Division of the IDF killed about 50 Hamassholes and destroyed their infrastructure near Tel al-Sultan in Rafah between Wednesday and Thursday morning. This included a terror cell that was identified by the Nahal reconnaissance unit, which the IAF struck.

Division 98 operated in the area of Khan Yunis and the outskirts of Deir al-Balah, where they destroyed Hamas infrastructure, discovered rockets, and killed terrorists who loved death more than they loved life, unlike Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar who only wants a ceasefire with Israel if they will guarantee they won't kill him, because the "I love death . . . " yadda yadda, 'is for thee; not for me' he seems to believe.

Israeli Air Force fighter jets also attacked a weapons depot located near a Hamas military site that had previously served as the Salah al-Din School in Gaza City Wednesday evening. At least in this strike, Hamas wasn't holding babies hostage to serve as shields and make Israel look bad.

In several joint operations between the IAF and Division 252, multiple terrorist cells were targeted in the central Gaza Strip, and a booby-trapped building was destroyed.

It's obvious that Hamas is losing in Rafah and is losing the war overall. Now all they need to do is get Sinwar and destroy the coward.

USSS didn't fire 1st shot at Trump shooter according to preliminary investigation

The Secret Service counter-sniper who neutralized Thomas Matthew Crooks on July 13 did not fire the first shot at the would-be assassin. According to a preliminary investigative report from Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), it was a local SWAT operator who initially "stopped Crooks" and damaged his firearm. In related news, the USSS female team member was able to eventually reinsert her firearm into her holster.

The ninth shot fired on July 13 came from a Butler SWAT operator positioned on the ground approximately 100 yards away from the AGR building. This shot struck Crooks' rifle stock, causing it to break apart and fragment, impacting his face, neck, and right shoulder area.

The SWAT sniper who took this shot was a "Billy Badass" kind of guy: when he spotted the shooter, Crooks, mostly obscured by foliage on the AGR rooftop, he immediately abandoned his assigned post. He ran towards the threat, positioning himself directly in the line of fire to get a clear shot, even as Crooks was firing eight rounds. This ESU SWAT operator took a very tough shot and stopped Crooks. More importantly, it's possible this shot damaged the buffer tube on Crooks' rifle.

While the effect of the first shot is not yet a fact, based on reliable eye-witness ESU officers who observed the failed assassin's AR before it was taken into evidence by the FBI, the buffer tube was indeed damaged. If so, his weapon would not fire after his 8th shot.

Crooks “went down” from his firing position when shot 9 was fired, and the SWAT officer was certain of his hit. According to the ESU SWAT operator, Crooks recovered after just a few seconds, and “popped back up”.

The 10th and final shot was fired from the southern counter-sniper team, according to Clay Higgins. (Preliminary Investigative Report.)

Higgins, an Army veteran and former law enforcement officer, also dispelled theories that a second shooter was on a nearby water tower.

So while the USSS would like to take credit for stopping Crooks, they were not the ones who did.

Quds dude, Fatah official droned by IDF strike

They were just a couple of guys riding along in their automobile thinking about how to kill more Israelis when suddenly from above a drone silently fired a missile and ended their dreams. Lebanon media said the drone targeted a senior Fatah member who Israel says smuggled weapons into the West Bank used by Hezbollah to target civilians in Golan.

The other guy, a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds force was killed on Wednesday in an IDF drone strike on his car traveling in an affluent neighborhood of Sidon.

According to a report from Lebanon's UNews agency, three people were killed in the attack. One of the dead Jew-haters was identified in Saudi media as Khalil al-Makdah. He was a senior member of the Palestinian Fatah group whom Israel had accused of smuggling weapons to the West Bank. The Hezbollah-affiliated Al Mayadeen channel reported that the Fatah official was the primary target of the attack.

The Israeli strike occurred following Hezbollah's launch of 50 rockets and drones at northern Israel during the early morning hours.

One Israeli man sustained moderate injuries after a direct hit on his home in the Golan Heights.

IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari stated in a post that Hezbollah's attack targeted Katzerin, a city in the Golan, and was an indiscriminate assault on civilians. "Like any country that protects its citizens, we will respond accordingly," Hagari said in a post on X.
Hezbollah's attacks threatened areas further south of the border including on the Sea of Galilee. Lebanese media reported Israeli artillery fire on South Lebanon.
