Tennis Tantrum: Nick Kyrgios sore-loses to a Karen at Djokovicless US Open

Australia's Nick Kyrgios lost a hard-fought tennis match against Karen Khachanov at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, NY in the U.S. Open.

Kyrgios would hit the ball and Karen would hit it back, and this went on and on until it ended with Karen hitting it back more often than the Aussie.

Kyrgios lost: 5-7, 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (7-3), in a match that lasted 3 hours and 39 long minutes for the number 23 seed. After the match, Kyrgios showed his sportsmanship by slamming his racket onto the court, which broke it, then slammed another racket with the same result before leaving the stadium. It was the third racket he smashed that day as one was smashed during the match.

Khachanov, the 27th seed, now advances to the semifinals for the first time while Kyrgios wins the title of "Role Model of the Year" for the kids who love the game. So Karen will now face the number 5 seed, Casper Ruud on Friday with the winner going on to the championship match while Kyrgios goes on to being an incredibly poor sport.

“I did it,” Karen said during his on-court interview. “I did it guys. It was a crazy match. I was expecting it to be like this. We played almost four hours, that’s the only way to beat Nick, I think.” Beat Nick--has a strange ring to it.

Kyrgios, who stopped ranting long enough to compose himself, reluctantly gave credit to Khachanov for beating his sorry ass.

“I’m obviously devastated,” Kyrgios cried. “But all credit to Karen. He’s a fighter. He’s a warrior. I thought he served really good today. Honestly probably the best server I played this tournament, to be honest, the way he was hitting his spots under pressure.”

Khachanov simply played a tighter, better game, committing just 31 unforced errors in comparison to Kyrgios’ egregious 58. He also converted on four of eight break points, while Kyrgios secured two of nine.

In the fourth set, Kyrgios double-faulted on the last point of the sixth game allowing Karen to tie at 3-3. And so on, and so forth, if you're interested in tennis. Just know that Karen won, Kyrgios lost and all is well in the world of tennis.

Kyrgios once called Karen Khachanov an "absolute pelican" during a social media war, so there was no love lost between them. At the Cincinnati Masters in 2019, Khachanov beat Kyrgios who had fallen apart in three sets and ended the match by spitting in the direction of the chair umpire Fergus Murphy, thus gaining his bonafides as an scumcrumpet sore loser.

In this match Kyrgios got an unsportsmanlike conduct warning after he chucked a water bottle following the third set.

I don't know about you, but it seems tiring and very annoying to watch the antics of a man-baby acting out. But perhaps that's what a lot of tennis fans want to see. If that's true, then you can have tennis, I'll take football and marathoning any day over this garbage display.

Howard Stern says of Djokovic: "They should throw him right the f*** out of tennis"

Tennis star Novak Djokovic’s visa was reinstated Monday, allowing the 20-time Grand Slam winner to participate in the Australian Open.

Shock jock jerk Howard Stern has called those who have not been vaccinated "imbeciles" also went after one of the greatest tennis players of all time: Novak Djokovic for his refusal to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, a shot that has not been effective in preventing contracting or spreading of the coronavirus. Although the vaccine has been demonstrated to assuage severe symptoms in many instances, actually having the virus does as good, or eve. a better job, of dealing with it. 

Djokovic has already had Covid.

But the vaccine has, like almost everything in our culture, taken on political implications as have the mask mandates and all the additional restrictions the Biden administration has foisted on the people, so celebrities had to get in on the act because not to do so, might make them irrelevant. 

Stern naturally got into the act: “That f***nut [Djokovic],” he said on his SiriusXM radio show. “What a f****** a**hole.”

“The first I’ve heard of this guy is that he doesn’t want to get his vaccine,” Stern said angrily, as if he had skin in the game. “They should throw him right the f*** out of tennis. That’s it. Goodbye.”

Cancel culture has finally made it to SiriusXM radio in the form of douche bag Stern wanting someone to lose his career for not doing what he wants him to do. Stern thinks he's virtue signaling. He's actually dickweed signaling. 

What a nasty attitude to have against a person's right to choose. When it's "my body, my choice," that only seems to work for liberals when it's convenient for their point. And in that case of choice, it isn't only their body--it's the unborn child's body too--but not so with a choice of whether a person wants to put an untested vaccine into their body.

Don't misunderstand me--I took the Fauci Ouchie. I made my own risk assessment and decided for myself. That's the operant term: MYSELF.

Anyway, Stern then questioned  whether Djokovic tested positive for COVID-19 at the beginning of the pandemic.

“He could be lying. He could be lying. He’s a d*****bag. He’s a f***er,” the potty mouth leftist said.

Stern has a huge radio following because of his uncensored vulgarity and his keen insight into women's body parts and how he convinces them to let him see them.

Serena Williams gives kids a clinic on how not to lose

Hi kids. If you watched the U.S. Open Tennis match between Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka you came away with a good education about how not to behave when you lose to another player. I hope you were taking notes.

Serena Williams is a great woman tennis player but was fined $17,000 for three code violations during Saturday's final match.

First she criticized the chair umpire, Carlos Ramos, for a controversial call and labeled him a "thief" for a controversial call. She was fined $10,000 for verbal abuse.

Second fine was for being warned by Ramos for coaching from the bench, and a $3,000 fine for breaking her racket and being a piss-poor sport.

The fines will be extracted from her $1.85 million prize money as runner-up, or second best woman on Sunday's final.

Williams, 36, lost to 20-year-old Naomi Osaka 6-2, 6-4. Osaka became the first female Japanese champion but the complaining by Williams and her overt bad behavior took the glory from the moment, which moved Osaka to tears.

The first violation came when Ramos ruled that Williams was getting illegal coaching advice from Patrick Mouratoglou, her coach. She shot back at the chair umpire insisting she wasn't receiving coaching and that she would "rather lose" than cheat.

The coach later admitted he coached her, so she cheated.

She received a second violation when she smashed her racket into a heart shape fly swatter due to her frustration and perhaps a symbol of her love for tennis. She lost a point for that violation, which led to her arguing with Ramos again about the first penalty.

"I didn't get coaching," she kept saying. "I don't cheat! I didn't get coaching. How can you say that? You owe me an apology. I have never cheated in my life!"

The third violation for verbal abuse came when Williams called the umpire a "thief," leading to an automatic game loss.

"You will never, ever, ever be on another court of mine as long as you live. You are a liar. When are you going to give me my apology? You owe me an apology. Say it. Say you're sorry...And you stole a point from me. You're a thief, too!" she yelled at Ramos.

She was visibly upset after the hot exchange and pleaded her case on the court and accused the umpire of sexism, which was backed up later in tweets by Billie Jean King.

"I've seen other men call other umpires several things. I'm here fighting for women's rights and for women's equality and for all kinds of stuff," she said after her loss. "For me to say 'thief,' and for him to take a game, it made me feel like it was a sexist remark. He's never taken a game from a man because they said 'thief.'"

But has any man ever actually said 'thief' to Ramos? We need to go to the video tape that doesn't exist.

And how is playing tennis for tons of money ". . . fighting for women's rights and for women's equality and for all kinds of stuff"? It seems to me playing tennis isn't about rights--she obviously has the right to play tennis.

"For me, it blows my mind," she added. "But I'm going to continue to fight for women."

Huh? It's tennis. Are men who play tennis fighting for men's rights? Maybe I'm missing something.

Billie Jean King tweeted:

"Several things went very wrong during the @usopen Women's Finals today. Coaching on every point should be allowed in tennis. It isn't, and as a result, a player was penalized for the actions of her coach. This should not happen."

I agree--she should get another coach. One who follows the rules. Or if you want to assuage the problem, throw the coach out of the stadium, but the rules go for both players and Osaka didn't get coached while she played.

King continued:

"When a woman is emotional, she's "hysterical" and she's penalized for it. When a man does the same thing, he's "outspoken" & there are no repercussions. Thank you, @serenawilliams, for calling out this double standard. More voices are needed to do the same."

Or maybe she's just a crappy loser. She did cheat, but lied and said she never cheated in her life. It would have been more truthful if she simply said that she never cheated once in her life.

Mouratoglou told ESPN that he was coaching but said that all coaches do it during matches.

But I guess Osaka's coach was lucky enough not to get caught. Sure, that's the ticket.

"I'm honest, I was coaching. I mean, I don't think she looked at me so that's why she didn't even think I was. But I was like 100 percent of the coaches on [sic] 100 percent of the matches."

The rule book states that "communications of any kind, audible or visible, between a player and a coach may be construed as coaching."

"Verbal abuse" is defined as "a statement about an official, opponent, sponsor, spectator or other person that implies dishonesty or is derogatory, insulting or otherwise abusive." A player guilty of verbal abuse is subject to a fine up to $20,000 for each violation.

Serena Williams has hopefully taught young girls on how not to behave in sports and other competition. She is a great female player and a horrible female loser.

ESPN sued: Calling "racist" thou doth protest too much

When everything you say is 'racist' the accuser is usually the racist.

Doug Adler had worked for ESPN since 2008. He's an excellent tennis announcer and he called the match at the Australian Open in which superstar Venus Williams was playing against Swiss Stefanie Voegele.

The Sydney Morning Herald described Adler's commentary between the two women thus:

"She misses a first serve and Venus is all over her," Adler said.

"You see Venus move in and put the gorilla effect on. Charging." 

And that's what thousand of people heard too. They heard gorilla not guerrilla. The Aussies didn't get the word correctly either, it seems.

But the call of racist seems to roll off the tongue so easily nowadays.

Adler was fired by ESPN two days later after his comment went viral on Twitter and helped along by The New York Times, and now he's suing the sports media outlet.

Adler was a pro tennis player himself and the term he used was well-worn in the 1990s. It's a standard way of describing an aggressive play. He doesn't have any history of making any racial slurs and by all standards is not a racist.

They say a depressed person sees the world through sad eyes, and an anxious person sees the world as a dangerous place.

It stands to reason that racists see the world where everyone else is a racist--certainly not themselves. Maybe they're more in touch with their unconscious minds than we think.

I hope Adler wins his lawsuit and collects millions.
