George Floyd memorial statue vandalized in NYC: fellow thugs outraged

It isn't often that a person whose only accomplishment in life was to hold a woman at gunpoint in front of her child while his cohorts robbed her home. But things have changed in our country and we now can say that everyone deserves a statue, or at least a trophy.

The George Floyd memorial statue in New York City's Union Square was vandalized for the second time, but this time by a skateboarding MAGA-Trump-loving-racist-treasonous-capitalist whose preferred pronouns are "Bite Me."

How dare anyone disgrace the statue of a man who has not only set the record for human consumption of fentanyl and methamphetamine, but was also carrying the COVID-19 virus while trying to pass counterfeit money at a local grocery? How dare anyone do that?

It seems that defacing George Floyd statues has become something of a national pastime. One statue  of Floyd was vandalized in New Jersey on Juneteenth, one the same day the first vandalization of the Union Square statue occurred.

This time, the statue of Floyd was doused in silver paint. Police obtained a video showing a male who might be a female, depending on how he identifies, skateboarding and having a backpack. He fiddles with something inside the backpack at around 10 a.m., according to a police cisgender spokesman.

Then the miscreant takes off on his skateboard as he throws the paint on Floyd's bust. Unfortunately, police say they are not planning on releasing the video due to its woke sacreligious content.

The nearby statues of Lewis and Breonna Taylor, the 26-year-old black woman who was shot and killed by Louisville, Ky. police in last year, were not vandalized.

In June, the Floyd statue was smeared with black paint and tagged with the phrase "Patriot Front." 

This is something I do not recommend as it is a cowardly act. But I do recommend that people stop looking at Floyd as some kind of hero--he wasn't.

Gandhi-ji statue removed from racist S. African University

It's kind of a case of the pot calling the kettle black, but in this case, it's kind of racists calling a racist, 'racist.' [Which brings to mind Antifa, but that's a different story.]

Fox News reports that a statue of Indian independence leader Mohandas K. Gandhi was removed from Ghana University [Go Cheetahs!] as a result of opposition and a petition drive that cited him as racist.

Gandhi was one of the most revered figures of the Twentieth Century due to his peaceful protests in his striving for Indian sovereignty.

However, in Africa, others remember him as someone who viewed Africans as savages who were beneath the British and Indians, the Washington Post reported.

A petition to remove the statue from the University of Ghana in Accra used his early writings during his two decades as a lawyer on the continent to give weight to critics' arguments, Fox News says.

"Having his statue means that we stand for everything he stands for and if he stands for these things [his alleged racism], I don't think we should have his statue on campus," law student Nana Adoma Asare told the BBC.

In one argument for Indian empowerment, Gandhi appeared to believe the British treated Indians “little better, if at all, than the savages or the Natives of Africa.” It also said Gandhi spoke of the "half-heathen Native."

Not for nothing, but the South Africans are now killing white folks en masse.

As a young man living in South Africa, Gandhi referred to the country's black population as "Kaffirs," a Muslim racial slur, (although Gandhi wasn't a Muslim) and said Indians were superior.

The word "Kaffir" is deemed so offensive that it is rarely uttered aloud or published, the Post said. Except that it's often used by Muslims to describe all non Muslims so the Post is blowing hot air.

The statue was unveiled at the university campus in 2016 by Indian's President Pranab Mukherjee. University professors and students told the BBC it was taken down Wednesday.

Protests by leftist virtue-signalers against Gandhi have occurred in Davis, California, where a similar statue met opposition, and in London, where plans to honor Gandhi also faced criticism, especially by virtue-signalers and others looking for something to do when they're bored or need something to do with their hands.

And when it comes to racism in general, Africa does not get a clean bill of health anymore than other countries.

Gandhi-ji was wrong to say the things he'd said, and he was a product of the time in which he said them.

But as Jesus once said when questioned about a woman adulteress, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." [John 8:7]

Monkey see, monkey do students say statue will cause them to commit suicide

Pea-brained students at a British university have loudly protested over a statue of a person standing on the edge of the library roof in a pose that appears it looks like it's about to jump off the building. Some students say it's a "poor choice" because it promotes their sheepish stupidity and might cause them to do what the statue apparently wants to do.

Young schmucklets at the University of East Anglia (UEA) don't think they can keep from leaping to their horrible deaths after looking at the statue by popular artist Antony Gormley. 

The "Gormster" is best known for his Angel of the North statue, obviously having nothing at all to do with Kim Jong Un. The new statue entitled: "Jump, You Chicken, Jump!" [not really] has convinced the more dim-witted amongst the students that the statue is a real dude. 

A university spokesman defended the work of art saying the statue is "thought-provoking and offer both spectacle and surprise," and if a student jumps off the building because the statue told him to, well nothing would have saved the idiot in the first place.

"Is this some sort of sick joke?" one fragile snowflake posted on Instagram, whose level of Thanatos was shooting off the scales.

Harry T. Dyer tweeted: "Love his work, & it fits with our other sculptures, but I think it's potentially a poor choice, especially at dissertation crunch time . . . " [when suicidal students clearly cannot deal with life].

A UEA grad student, Kimberly Davies told the paper: "It's a bit tactless to put a statue on top of a building filled with people on edge during exam season. Sombreros are a no-no, but making passers-by think someone's about to commit suicide is art--I'm out."

Davies probably loved the sculpture of "Piss Christ."

Maybe it's a bad idea, but seriously--if it can cause students to off themselves, they should be home under the bed, not in a university setting.

This generation is clearly messed up.
