MLB replaces 'Disabled List' with PC list

Major League Baseball is getting rid of the "disabled list" in 2019 because it makes disabled people feel like they will never play major league baseball or something like that. They will now call it the "injured list" and hopefully this will not upset the social justice warriors who are brain injured or brain dead and who

scour the dregs of the Internet to find something to get pissed off over. That would be insensitive.

The "disabled list" has been part of professional baseball since the mid-1960s (and there are even records of some teams using a 'disabled list" as far back as the early 20th century, but those players are dead, which is a worse medical condition), and it has become normal to refer to an injured or exhausted player as "on the DL." 

But MLB has been reportedly batting around the idea of renaming the injured roster in order to better reflect the condition of players who skip games for mental, medical or physical reasons, according to ESPN, the political arm of sports television.

There is even talk of MLB developing an LGBTQsilentP list, but that's merely in the rumor stage at this time.

"The league will make the change out of concern that the term 'disabled' for injured players falsely conflates disabilities with injuries and an inability to participate in sports," the far-left sports network reported after a brief pontification about the Second Amendment. The change was made at the request of disability advocacy organizations, who have been pressing the league to make the change for nearly a decade, having nothing else to complain about.

In recent years, the commissioner has received several inquiries regarding the name of the 'Disabled List,'" MLB's "senior director of league economics and operations" wrote in a letter to MLB teams and team owners in late December.

The MLB statement said:

"The principal concern is that using the term 'disabled' for players who are injured supports the misconception that people with disabilities are injured and therefore are not able to participate or compete in sports. As a result, Major League Baseball has agreed to change the name 'Disabled List' to be the 'Injured List' at both the major and minor league levels. All standards and requirements for placement, reinstatement, etc., shall remain unchanged. This change, which is only a rebranding of the name itself, is effective immediately.

“People with disabilities do not consider themselves injured,”Jay Ruderman, president of the disability advocacy organization, The Ruderman Family Foundation, told the New York Times. “When it’s used incorrectly, when someone is injured, not disabled, that’s offensive.”

But some normal people might argue that the Disabled List referred specifically to the game of baseball and players on the list were unable [aka disabled] to effectively contribute to the success of their team at the time.

Picking nits, Ruderman went on to add that players with a "torn ACL," for example, are more adequately described as "injured" and not "disabled," hence the push. Ultimately, disability advocacy organizations hope that the change will resonate with baseball fans and lead to a more widespread understanding of the difference between temporary injury and permanent disability.

But let's face it--social justice warriors hardly like the term 'disabled' for any reason. They prefer, for example, to call a blind person 'optically challenged,' or a paranoid schizophrenic a 'reality challenged dreamer.'

Anyway, to the credit of MLB, at least they aren't taking a knee during the National Anthem . . . right?

China praises teen's choice of prom dress as left is screwed

Keziah Daum, the Utah teen who was accused of cultural appropriation by a bunch of jealous Twitter twits for wearing a Chinese cheongsam dress, received the praises from people in China. They saw her choice in prom attire as a compliment to their culture, not some nonsense notion of cultural appropriation, as the Twitter storm suggested.

If every time one culture uses something from another culture they are admonished, we would spending all our time admonishing. And we would all be guilty of appropriating something from other cultures--every day.

The Japanese would be guilty of developing automobiles in the spirit of American cars. 

Scots would be culturally appropriating the kilt from Egypt.

Americans would be wrong to wear French cuffs on their shirts that began with the Saxons. 

You gat the picture.

The idea that Daum was attacked by SJW idiots is just an indication of the selective intolerance of idiots on the left. Yes, the left. You don't see conservatives making these sort of stupid accusations.

Because we don't care. Wear whatever floats your boat, an invention that, according to circumstantial evidence, may date back to Crete over 130,000 years ago. In fact, the earliest boats found by archaeological excavation dates from 7,000 to 10,000 years ago, the oldest recovered being the Pesse canoe, which can be found in the Drents Museum in Assen, Netherlands.

What makes this story about Daum and her choice of prom wear is that she is unapologetic about her choice.

Kaepernick's prison lectures angers correction officers

Big hair, small brain

NFL great, Colin Kaepernick (just kidding, he totally sucks) made a surprise visit to Rikers Island Tuesday to meet with felons, pedophiles, sex offenders, murderers, and other varieties of misunderstood scum. The corrections officers tasked with guarding the facility and stayin' alive, stayin' alive, were irate and believe the stunt will endanger them in the future.

Which wouldn't bother Colin Kaepernick as he believes law enforcement unfairly singles out people of color and other minorities in spite of statistics that prove otherwise.

The former decent QB for the San Francisco 49ers spoke to groups of inmates during two 45 minute sessions at the George Motchan Detention Center section of the prison on Tuesday morning.

He lectured about social justice, a topic he learned about from his girlfriend, an angry woman who is aware of Colin's failing athleticism and the need to keep him relevant. He also spoke about his heavy decision to kneel disrespectfully during the national anthem, which has nothing to do with social justice and everything to do with patriotism and the military.

This may have been the reason patriotic Americans decided to boycott the NFL after he influenced other football players to mindlessly kneel or do their stretching during the playing of the anthem.

"That's crazy to me to have a person like Colin Kaepernick in prison talking about police brutality," one officer who attended the event said. "It was insulting for me to be there."

"In the inmate's eyes, we are the police when they're locked up."

It's amazing how stupid we have become as a nation. It's also pathetic.

The morning started off with Kaepernick having breakfast in the warden's office because he was scared to sit with his audience or take a shower with them in fear of dropping the soap like players had been dropping his duck passes before his forced retirement.

Kaepernick is everything that's wrong with SJWs.
