Saudi wife wants to leave you? There's an app for that

Ms. Saudi Beauty Contest
Let's say you're a Saudi husband and your wife thinks she would rather be married to the family goat than to you, and you realize she wants to leave the country. No sweat--you can stop her.

There's an app that can stop her from booking it to Broadway without your permission. Hey, it isn't crazy, it's basic Sharia law:
“The husband may forbid his wife to leave the home…because of the hadith related by Bayhaqi that the Prophet…said, ‘It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to allow someone into her husband’s house if he is opposed, or to go out of it if he is averse” (Reliance of the Traveller m10.4).
In an article in Morocco World News, by Zakaria Oudrhiri, "Saudi Arabia Makes App to Stop Women from Traveling Without Consent," the good news for guys is spelled out. Here's a small taste of it, [h/t Jihad Watch]:

Rabat – The Saudi National Information Center has developed a mobile application called “Absher” (Arabic for “Enjoy”) that allows male guardians, usually husbands and fathers, to monitor women’s movements.
The app, available on iOS and Android, is designed to help guardians with tasks like renewing a driver’s license or paying fines, but also to monitor women and stop them from leaving the country without their consent.
The app sends a notification when a woman presents her passport at border control. Border police will deny the woman travel if her guardian says so….
So guys, no wife around? No worries. Just use the handy app and zing! she can't get on that plane to fly the friendly skies to freedom.

And, as a special bonus, Sharia Law lets you beat her when you get her back home. Just don't kill her or you'll have to fill out a lot of paper work in Arabic.

I hope you'll follow Brain Flushings and have a few laughs while you get a conservative viewpoint. Politics is the new NFL without the mindless kneeling and this blog will both inform you and hopefully entertain you bigly.

Muslims see themselves as the victims

Eugene, Ore. -- The Associated Press (AP) in an emetic article about the Eugene Islamic Center, discussed how the locks of the mosque had to be changed after a man appeared outside their doors threatening to kill Muslims.

That's terrible, but why change the locks when you can tell the police your concerns?

The article begins:
Inside a mosque in the college town of Eugene, a half-dozen men prostrated themselves on a carpet while another man led the midday prayers. Over their melodic recitation came a tapping sound as a locksmith installed higher-grade locks on the front door.
The worshippers at the Eugene Islamic Center are worried about their security. A man recently appeared outside the mosque and threatened to kill Muslims.
And the article goes on to discuss the incident in which a lunatic non-Muslim stabbed two men to death and wounded a third on a Portland train, 110 miles to the north. The victims, non Muslims, were trying to protect two teenage girls, one of whom was covered in a hijab, as the lunatic shouted anti-Islamic slurs.

This is unquestionably horrible and should be condemned by all of us. But whenever there is an Islamic terrorist attack, Muslims go into victim mode. In almost every case, it's a false alarm.

Of course sometimes a crazy person will do what crazy people do. But that's the exception, not the rule.

Now Muslim leaders are worried about anti-Sharia (Islamic law) marches planned for Saturday in Seattle and about 6 other U.S. cities. The Muslim leaders are calling these marches anti-Muslim, but if you understand what Sharia calls for, you can understand that anyone who wants to live in the free society we currently enjoy would have to give that up if Sharia came to pass.

It's when Muslims demand their Sharia in the U.S. that feelings become dicey.

The entire LGBTQ community would be in danger--gays, lesbians, adulterers can be killed under Sharia. Women have half the legal rights of a man. If a woman is raped, she must come up with FOUR MALE witnesses or the rapist must confess to the crime. Otherwise, she can be charged with adultery and stoned to death. People caught stealing may get a hand amputated. Leaving Islam is a death sentence. Speaking against Islam or Mohammed is a death sentence.

And so on.

In other words, Sharia is not a good thing. It's totally against our Western values.

And while Muslims complain about anti-Muslim sentiment (which is real, but not very widespread) the one religion that experiences the greatest hatred is Judaism. It has recently become acceptable to hate the Jews, and they are physically assaulted more than any other religious group in the U.S.

In spite of Islamic terrorism.

The group organizing the rallies against Sharia is ACT for America. I urge you to find out if there's a rally in your area and go there.

Many Muslims claim that ACT for America promotes a distorted view of Islam. I say read the Quran and decide for yourself. And while you're at it, read the book all about Sharia: "Reliance of the Traveler."

Everyone likes to make all kinds of claims about Islam, but if you read it for yourself, you will know what I'm saying is real.

I believe it's a free download and it will open your eyes and increase your heart rate, but not in a good way.

Pope urges a "sincere dialogue" between Christians and Muslims

The Vatican -- Pope Francis called for a "sincere dialogue" between Christians and Muslims and supposedly wasn't kidding--popes rarely make public jokes as such so we have to take His Holiness at his word.

He said this as he met grieving family members and survivors of France's Bastille Day attack. That was the one in which a truck driver plowed into a crowd trying to kill as many Christians as possible.

The pope believes a good heart-to-heart will help clear things up between the two religions.

In a surprising move, the pope also denounced violence this week in the name of religion, saying "there is no God of war." He met with 180 infidels who were wounded or left traumatized or in mourning since the July 14th attack that killed 86 innocent lives.

"We need to start a sincere dialogue and have fraternal relations between everybody, especially those who believe in a sole God who is merciful," he said as seriously as he could, without breaking into a smile, adding that this was "an urgent priority."

Pope Francis told the infidels, "It is with a feeling of great emotion that I am meeting with you, those who are suffering in body and in spirit because an evening of festivity turned into one of violence which struck blindly at all, without taking into account their origins or religion," he said,  speaking from a position of ignorance.

"We can only respond to the Devil's attacks with God's works which are forgiveness, love and respect for the other, even if they are different," he said, obviously never having actually read the Koran, Sira, Haditha or "Reliance of the Traveller."

Had he read any Islamic scripture, the pontiff would know that Islam calls for jihad, calls for such acts of violence by the believers and wouldn't sound like he has no idea what he's talking about.

Rather than calling upon the Christian community to have a "sincere dialogue" with the Muslim community, the pope should be calling for the Muslim community to stop killing people they believe are Christian so that they can have that dialogue.

Dead people make lousy dialoguers.

BREAKING: Easter Sunday attack in Lahore kills 65 Christians

Lahore, Pakistan --  Tolerance is a word that doesn't exist in the Koran, unless maybe I missed it. But even if it does have a hiding place within those pages, it certainly hasn't impressed jihadists very much.

An explosion from a suicide/homicide bomber went off today, Easter Sunday, in a crowded park where Christians were celebrating Easter Sunday. Over 65 Christians were killed, not because they were Pakistanis, but because they were celebrating a Christian Holy Day, aka holiday.

The explosion occurred at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park near the exit gate where the children's rides are located. Most of the dead were women and children, and many of the wounded were in critical condition.

It makes  a normal person want to weep and then get angry.

The chief minister of Punjab province, Shahbaz Sharif, announced three days of mourning and pledged to ensure that those involved in the attack are brought to trial, or that their body parts will be found and stepped on repeatedly.

C'mon, seriously, what can you do to punish a suicide bomber?

I've read several Pakistani blogs and journalists who are upset when it's pointed out that the Islamic religion has something to do with the killings: "It was Pakistanis who were killed," they'd say.

But facts are stubborn things--the targeting by the jihadist was the celebrating Christians, and it didn't apparently matter what their nationality was; what mattered was that they were infidels.

Yes, more Muslims are killed by other Muslims, but the reasons are generally the same as when Christians or other infidels are killed: those Muslims are considered infidels too because they don't believe in precisely the same way the terrorists believe. [Hint: think of the Sunni vs. Shi'ite situation.]

The Muslim shop owner in Scotland who was murdered by two Muslims was killed because he put a sign in his window saying wonderful things about his Christian community. Due to the fact that Islam is supposed to be the dominant religion in the world, what he did was "un-Islamic." Christians are defined as inferior to Muslims and must be conquered or killed if they resist the former.

It doesn't take a genius to understand the notion that a person who is willing to blow him- or herself up to kill others in order to get a ticket to Paradise, is doing it for their religious beliefs. And to say that this is not "true Islam" is totally false. Read all about it in the Koran, Sira and Hadith. Then check out "Reliance of the Traveller."

The attacks were condemned in a statement from the National Security Council spokesperson Ned Price. "The United States condemns in the strongest terms today's appalling terrorist attack in Lahore, Pakistan. This cowardly act in what has long been a scenic and placid park has killed dozens of innocent civilians and left scores injured. We send our deepest condolences to the loved ones of those killed, just as our thoughts and prayers are with the many injured in the explosion."

That sure must make them all feel better now that we've bolstered them with our words while avoiding to actually mention who the attackers were, and who they intended to kill.
