BLM leaders call for violence following Daniel Penny verdict

The New York subway hero who is white, went on trial for intervening to protect passengers on the city's F train [that I have taken literally hundreds of times] when a man, who is black, threatened to kill people on board the train. Daniel Penny, a former Marine put Jordan Neely in a headlock with help from several black passengers, and sadly Neely died. "I'm gonna kill a mother-effer today, and I don't care if I go to jail," Neely yelled when Penny stepped in.

Neely had 42 previous arrests in 7 years. His family was not involved in his life and he was homeless, but his father is hoping to cash in on his estranged son's death. 

What a dad.

Now the Daniel Penny verdict has been met with threats by at least one livid high-profile activist hoping he would be convicted of killing Jordan Neely, who was threatening people on a New York City subway train last year.

After Penny was found not guilty of the criminally negligent homicide of Neely, the founder of Black Lives Matter (BLM) of Greater New York, Hawk Newsome, called on black people to attack white people in the city--exactly the same thing that Neely was threatening to do when Penny stepped in to stop him.

“We need some black vigilantes,” Newsome said during a press conference. “People wanna jump up and choke us and kill us for being loud? How about we do the same when they attempt to oppress us.”

The trial has also provided an excuse for vandalism.

Last week, law enforcement said that nine suspects who boarded the northbound F train at the Neptune Avenue station around 4:24 a.m. allegedly plastered the interior of the car with messages that said: “A man was lynched here,” according to AMNY. The statements are believed to be a reference to Neely, who died after Penny subdued him in a chokehold to keep him from hurting other passengers.

Despite Neely's official cause of death of asphyxiation, forensic pathologist Dr. Satish Chundru testified for the defense that Penny’s chokehold did not result in Neely’s death.

Chundru testified that Neely’s death was the result of “the combined effects of sickle cell crisis, the schizophrenia, the struggle and restraint, and the synthetic marijuana,” Fox News reported. 

He explained that a person high on synthetic marijuana with schizophrenia can die while involved in a struggle, even without a chokehold being used. Dr. Chundru added that even if Neely hadn’t had those other health factors, he still would not have died from Penny’s chokehold.

Chundru stated that he did not consider the chokehold as the cause of death because there were other factors involved. He also noted inconsistencies in Neely's medical records. Specifically, he mentioned that the records showed inconsistent bruising on Neely's neck and described the presence of "almost negligible" tiny bleeding spots on his eyelids. Chundru concluded that these inconsistencies did not match what would be expected from a fatal chokehold, according to a report by the New York Post at the time.

Jurors spent most of last week deliberating whether Penny was responsible for "recklessly" causing the death of Neely as part of a charge of manslaughter in the second degree. On Friday, they informed Judge Maxwell Wiley that they could not reach a unanimous decision on that count of the indictment, leading Wiley to permit Assistant District Attorney Dafna Yoran to drop the charge. This allowed the jury to consider the lesser charge of criminally negligent homicide.

When the jury reconvened on Monday to deliberate on this lesser charge, it took them less than an hour to find Penny not guilty.

Insofar as Hawk Newsome's call for violence against white people, that is not protected by the First Amendment and he needs to be held accountable for his rhetoric.

BLM may lose funding as Calif. vows to hold leaders "liable" for repeated lawbreaking

The California Department of Justice, generally seen as an oxymoron, is threatening to hold Black Lives Matter leaders personally liable if the organization fails to produce financial reports within the next two months. 

Perhaps they'll even look into the trained socialist Patrisse Cullors real estate buying binge to see where she got the money to buy the $6 million mansion that she is only sharing with her wife but not her socialist collective. And what about the $1.4 million home she bought in a neighborhood in LA where only 1.4% of the residents are black? Overall, she purchased 4 high-priced homes and we don't know where she got the money.

The  Washington Examiner reported that the organization has about $60.000,000 in their coffers, but they failed to submit their yearly financial reports as required by law.

“The organization BLACK LIVES MATTER GLOBAL NETWORK FOUNDATION, INC. is delinquent with The Registry of Charitable Trusts for failing to submit required annual report(s),” the January 31 letter stated.

The outlet reported BLM hasn't submitted its 2020 Form 990, which is required for charities that are exempt from income tax, and other financial documents.

It couldn't have happened to a nicer state than California. 

Samaria Rice and Lisa Simpson, mothers of Tamir Rice and Richard Risher, respectively, called on BLM leaders to "stop monopolizing and capitalizing" on the shooting deaths by police of their sons. In a joint statement they said, “We never hired them to be the representatives in the fight for justice for our dead loved ones murdered by the police.”

Tamir, 12, was killed by Cleveland Police officer Timothy Loehmann, 26, while he was carrying a toy gun and was shot almost immediately on Nov. 22, 2014.  The cop was fired but not prosecuted in the case.

Richard Risher, 18, was shot and killed in a Watts housing project in Los Angeles, California. The scene was described as a "running gun battle," by police in which one officer was shot and wounded by Risher. In a 4-0 vote, the civilian panel sided with LAPD Chief Charlie Beck in clearing the officers in their use of deadly force.

In the Michael Brown case [the fake "hands up, don't shoot" incident that did not happen that way] the family of Brown created a slew of corporate and foundation donations to BLM, but the local Ferguson, Missouri BLM only received $500 from the organization. "Why hasn't my family's foundation received any assistance from the movement?" Brown's father asked.

BLM doing charity work in Chicago 

At this time, BLM will be barred from "soliciting or disbursing charitable funds" until the socialist organization produce the proper tax forms, according to the letter sent to them. And failure to report within 60 days would result in the California Registry of Charitable Trusts revoking their tax-exempt status while imposing fines for “each month or partial month for which the report(s) are delinquent,” the letter stated.

“Directors, trustees, officers and return preparers responsible for failure to timely file the above-described report(s) are personally liable for payment of all penalties, interest and other costs incurred to restore exempt status.”

Washington state has also ordered BLM to "immediately cease" fundraising in a letter dated January 5th of this year and warned that they could face fines of up to $2,000 for each donation it solicited or received. But as of Monday, the socialist organization has basically flipped the state off by ignoring the order and they continue to accept donations, according to the Examiner.

BLM had already been out of legal compliance with charity registration requirements in Maine, Maryland, Connecticut, New Jersey, North Carolina and Virginia, but maybe BLM's unearned victim status will inoculate them from the law.

BLM was described as being “like a giant ghost ship full of treasure drifting in the night with no captain, no discernible crew, and no clear direction,” by CharityWatch Executive Director Laurie Styron, according to the Examiner.

Lavern Spicer, a Florida Republican running for a seat in the United States House of Representatives, suggested BLM’s dark finances were intentional to hide where the donations were going. She tweeted:

Black lives DON’T matter to Black Lives Matter, that’s why none of the $30 million they raised ever went to help any part of the black community.

Nobody in BLM now claims to be the leader as Patrisse Cullers resigned in May 2021. She named two fellow Marxists to take over the executive director role, but they later revealed they denied the job after disagreements with the charity. Maybe they weren't far enough to the left.

Cullors’ resignation, in part, resulted from the BLM’s shady finances. The fact that she bought four high-end homes helped create that suspicion.

The properties she purchased included a $1.4 million house near Malibu, California, and a “custom ranch” on a 3.2 acre plot in Georgia — complete with an airplane hangar and swimming pool. 

So while she is a trained Marxist and brags about it, she has benefitted from the capitalism system that enabled the donations to pour in to BLM and very possibly her own pocket.

Walter "Hawk" Newsome, the head of a separate group called Black Lives Matter Greater New York City, who was living with his mother, told the Post that Cullors’ spending spree damaged the credibility of the BLM movement. 

However, his living arrangement has damaged his credibility to be taken seriously.

“If you go around calling yourself a socialist, you have to ask how much of her own personal money is going to charitable causes,” he said from his mother's basement. “It’s really sad because it makes people doubt the validity of the movement and overlook the fact that it’s the people that carry this movement.”

Yeah, okay Hawkster.
