IAF kills Hezbollah military chief in aggressive strike in Beirut

The IAF just dropped the hammer in Beirut like it's 2024 all over again, and the "ceasefire" that was supposedly holding turned out to be about as durable as a Twinkie in a time capsule.

In the most aggressive Israeli strike on Hezbollah since that November 2024 ceasefire we were all told would bring "calm," the IDF sent Hezbollah’s military commander, and second-in-command overall, Ali Tabatabai straight to whatever reward those jihadis think they're getting. Bahdahbing! Gone. Right in the middle of Beirut. Talk about a surgical strike by the IAF.

"Netanyahu ordered the strike on the recommendation of the Defense Minister and the IDF Chief of Staff," the Prime Minister's Office confirmed, because apparently Bibi decided playing nice while Hezbollah rebuilds its rocket arsenal for Round 387 wasn't on the agenda anymore, even though he likely knew the attack would accuse Israel of illegal aggression.

Hezbollah, in their usual tough-guy eulogy, confirmed the guy got his virgins and vowed that "they [the Mujahideen] will advance with strength and courage to overthrow all the projects of the Zionist enemy and its patron, America." Translation: they're really mad and promise to do something about it… eventually… when the timing is better… maybe after tea.

Three other Hezbollah terrorists ate the same missile for dessert, and the IDF made sure the message was crystal clear: rearm at your own peril.

Look, for the last year Israel's been playing whack-a-mole with low-level Hezbollah goons sneaking into the south or trying to rebuild rocket sites. Of course it was necessary, but those were the foot soldiers "caught in the act."

Taking out Tabatabai, the actual military crap-weasel chilling in a hidden Beirut apartment, is a whole different ballgame. This is the guy who replaced the guy who replaced Fuad Shukr (killed July '24) and Ibrahim Aqil (killed September '24) after Nasrallah got turned into a crater. In other words, Israel just climbed another rung up the Hezbollah org chart and hit "delete."

And yeah, the IDF almost never hits Beirut anymore. Hasn’t in months. So when they do? Message received.

At the moment Hezbollah’s doing that thing where they huff and puff but haven’t launched the mother-of-all rocket barrages… yet. Israel’s bracing anyway—because even after getting its arsenal cut down from 150,000 rockets, Hezbollah still has tens of thousands left. That’s enough to turn northern Israel into a very bad day if they decide honor demands it.

Bibi, Defense Minister Katz, and the IDF brass laid it out plain: the “less aggressive” approach of the past year utterly failed to stop Hezbollah from rearming. The Lebanese Army got a gold star for pushing Hezbollah back from the border in early 2025… and then promptly ran out of steam when it came to actual disarmament outside the south. Shocker.

Top IDF officers are basically saying: if we don’t draw the red line right now, we’re looking at Hezbollah 2006 2.0—fully rearmed because the world looked the other way again.

Netanyahu’s office was blunt: “Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu ordered the strike on the recommendation of the defense minister and the IDF chief of staff.” And when some U.S. sources started whining they weren’t notified until the jets were already inbound? Bibi slapped that nonsense down hard:

“All the talk that ‘we must receive approvals for this’ from one source or another is simply an absolute lie,” Netanyahu told the security cabinet. “We operate independently of anyone… Israel is responsible for its own security.”

Preach.Bottom line: Israel just reminded everyone that “ceasefire” doesn’t mean “open season to rebuild your terror army.” Hezbollah’s new military chief lasted about a year. That’s gotta sting.

Now we wait to see if Nasrallah’s replacement-replacement-replacement decides dying for pride is worth another war Israel already proved it can win.

How Hezbollah's Fuad Shukr's pee pee got him killed

Hezbollah terrorist honcho Fuad Shukr couldn't keep it in his shalwar [pants]. The guy was married but somehow managed to have four extramarital affairs, the New York Times reported on Sunday. Of course, being a Muslim man and a guy with power, he planned to marry all four of them because he could. Supposedly, he felt guilty about the adultery, but that's only what European and Israeli officials told the former newspaper.v

The terrorist's marriage plans came after he requested guidance last year from Hashem Safieddine, Hezbollah's honcho in all things Allah.

Hezbollah is composed of Shi'a Muslims. In this Islamic sect, Nikah Mut'ah marriages are acceptable, especially among Twelver Shi'ites. This is a temporary marriage in which the adulterer gets married, gets laid, then gets divorced automatically upon completion of the term. Sunni Muslims reject Mut'ah marriages and so do societies that see this as a form of prostitution, which it is.

Anyway, Safieddine succeeded Hassan Nasrallah, who was blown to smithereens by the Israeli Air Force in October of last year. He reportedly arranged for Shukr's sexcapades to be legitimized in the form of four telephone call wedding ceremonies for each mistress.

We don't know if Shukr ever completed the weddings because he, like Nasrallah, was killed in Beirut in July alongside three women, one thought to be his actual wife, and two of his children. Arab outlets reported that the so called wife was actually one of his mistresses, which goes to show you that karma is real.

Shukr had been hiding in the residential building when he got a call from someone who had likely infiltrated Hezbollah’s internal communication network. The caller told him to move to the 7th floor of the building. The move was a trick and ultimately led to his receiving 72 virgins, which was more than he originally bargained for.

Israel's surveillance on Shukr, as well as the assassination of Nasrallah, was the culmination of extensive, smart Israeli spy infiltration and intelligence gathering from the terror group that spanned decades, the NYT report revealed.

The Times' investigation, based on interviews with over two dozen current and former Israeli, American, and European officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss classified operations, revealed how deeply Israeli spies had penetrated Hezbollah culminating from two decades of methodical intelligence gathering in preparation for an full-scale war that was predicted by many to come.

The Israeli spies recruited people to plant listening devices in Hezbollah bunkers, tracked meetings between Shukr and his four mistresses, and had near-constant visibility into the movements of the terror group's leaders, according to the Times' report.

Shukr was a member of Hezbollah for approximately 30 years and served as the Chief of the terror group's military wing and was considered the "number 2" in its hierarchy, according to reports from Israeli media--and we all know what "number 2" means.

He lived a secretive life where he was rarely seen by others. He both resided and worked in the same building in the Dahiyeh neighborhood of southern Beirut, minimizing his need to venture outside. After his death, a neighbor remarked, "We'd heard his name, but we never saw him. He was like a ghost."

And now he really is one.

He became infamous for orchestrating the hijacking of a plane in 1985 to secure the release of 700 prisoners from Israeli jails. On June 14, 1985, a group of hijackers took control of TWA Flight 847 shortly after its departure from Athens, flying it back and forth between Beirut and Algiers for three days. Following this operation, the scumcrumpet went into hiding.

The US offered a $5 million reward for information on Shukr through the Rewards for Justice program, linking him to numerous attacks, including the bombing of the US Marine Corps barracks in Beirut on October 23, 1983, which resulted in the deaths of 241 US military personnel and injuries to 128 others.

The U.S. also imposed sanctions on the terrorist, designating him as a "Specially Designated Global Terrorist" under "Executive Order 13224" on September 10, 2019, which aims to cut off financial support to terrorists.

Following Hezbollah's renewed attacks on Israel after October 7, Israeli strikes killed around 400 operatives, including key commanders. In response, Hezbollah's leader, Nasrallah, advised his fighters and their families to "Abandon your phone, disable it, bury it, lock it in a metal box."

FAFO.
