The Bethlehem Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation Hospital will be reducing its bed count by 20 percent and cannot accept any patients to its cardiology department who are referred by the Palestinian Authority (PA) Ministry of Health [a true oxymoron] because they owe the hospital about $18,200,000 (about 65 million shekels).
The hospital's announcement comes after three weeks when Palestinian Media Watch reported how the PA was so hyped to pay incarcerated terrorists after the October 7 massacre, that they bypassed their own policies to make it easier to pay the terrorists with a PA salary. It's the "pay-to-slay" mentality taking precedent over their responsibilities to their non-combative citizens.
Before the October 7 massacre, the PA spent between 50 and 55 million shekels a month on salaries to imprisoned terrorists, but with new imprisoned terrorists currently eligible for salaries, the PA payments are expected to climb around 65 million shekels per month.
But the hospital isn't seeing any of those shekels and one could say they are practically shekeless because the PA would rather spend their money on killing rather than saving their cardiac patient citizens.
