Pete Hegseth Drops the Hammer on Biden’s Vaccine Purge Disaste

Troops who got the boot over the COVID-19 vaccine mandate are about to catch a serious break, and it’s coming straight from War Secretary Pete Hegseth. Yes, even for the guys who have zero interest in putting the uniform back on.

Hegseth made the announcement in a video on X Friday afternoon, promising to fix the financial hits and restore benefits that were stripped away because of those garbage “general” discharges.

“I’m directing the Under Secretary of War for Personnel and Readiness to establish a Department of War COVID-19 reinstatement and Reconciliation Task Force,” Hegseth explained, noting that their first move would be to assist anyone who wanted to return to military service to do so. “The services have them right now. We’re establishing one at our level to oversee the entire thing. The task force’s goal is to bring back into service all those who desire to continue to serve our country in uniform.”

But Hegseth wasn’t stopping there. He went on to say that changes were also coming for those who were discharged for refusing the COVID vaccine mandate under former President Joe Biden and opted not to put the uniform back on. Those who were denied education benefits due to a “general” discharge, Hegseth vowed, would have them restored.

“Even if you do not intend to return to service, the War Department will provide a path for resolution of unearned bonuses, upgrades to discharge characterizations that will unlock your well-deserved benefits, and removal of adverse documents from service files,” he said. “Further, I have directed a review of policies and decision-making to ensure that we do not go down this path again. You raised your right hand and sworn ill to serve and protect the Constitution and our nation.”

“You were mistreated by the Biden Pentagon, and we are fixing that injustice,” Hegseth concluded.

About damn time.

Between August 2021 and early 2023, roughly 8,700 service members were railroaded out of the military thanks to Biden’s vaccine obsession. Over a third of them — around 3,000 — got slapped with “general” discharges instead of the honorable ones they’d earned. On top of that, plenty lost enlistment bonuses and pay because they were forced out before their contracts were up.

A “general” discharge usually means you can still get some VA disability and health care, but the post-9/11 G.I. Bill education benefits? Often locked out. Classic bureaucratic screw job.

As of March 2026, the Air Force had already upgraded discharges for about 600 of these troops. The Marine Corps and Navy led the pack in sheer numbers of vaccine mandate separations, because of course they did.

Hegseth and the new team are finally treating these patriots like the Americans who raised their right hands to defend the Constitution — not like lab rats for Biden’s failed authoritarian experiment. It’s a long-overdue correction to one of the most disgraceful chapters in recent Pentagon history.

Drones spotted over US military bases in Germany and UK

Security worries about drones aren't just a U.S. thing anymore; now they've been seen flying over U.S. military bases in the UK and Germany over the last month, according to various news sources.

Last month, a bunch of drones appeared several times over three U.S. Air Force bases in Great Britain — RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk, and RAF Feltwell in Norfolk. This caused British troops and local police to spring into action, as reported by the Daily Mail on Friday. Defense sources called it a "coordinated" operation. 

Fortunately for the drones, British cops don't generally carry guns.

The U.S. Air Force confirmed in a news release on November 26 that drones were spotted over these bases since November 20. They also mentioned spotting drones at another base, RAF Fairford, which houses four U.S. B-52 bombers for Bomber Task Force 25-1. Other aircraft like F-35 and F-15 fighters, KC-135 tankers, and RC-135 surveillance planes are stationed at the other bases.

"To date, installation leaders have determined that none of the incursions impacted base residents, facilities or assets," the release stated. "The Air Force is taking all appropriate measures to safeguard the aforementioned installations and their residents. The number of systems has fluctuated, and they have ranged in sizes and configurations."

The Air Force didn't specify if they took any action against the drones but noted, "we retain the right to protect our installations." But did they?

In Germany, Der Spiegel, a news magazine, reported on Friday that drones were seen over the Ramstein Air Base, which is a major U.S. military hub in Europe, on the evenings of December 3 and December 4.

"At the beginning of December, there were several sightings of small, unmanned aircraft systems in the area and above Ramstein Air Base," a base spokeswoman told Der Spiegel. "They had no impact on the residents of the base or on the facilities and military equipment there." She also mentioned that the U.S. military is cooperating with German officials on this.

Philip Ingram, a former British military intelligence colonel, said that the drone sightings in Great Britain had "all the hallmarks" of an operation by Russia's secretive GRU spy agency.

"It's a distinct possibility if not a certain probability this is all down to Russian intelligence," he said. "They and the GRU are just a bunch of petulant little boys. They're trying to suggest they have the ability to disrupt and influence through a level of nuisance action.

"I would say we will see another flurry of activity in the next few months for sure. Whether drones or something else, I suspect something else."

Der Spiegel also mentioned that drones had been seen over facilities of the German arms company Rheinmetall and the chemical giant BASF recently, though where they came from isn't known.

There's no proof to link the drone sightings in Great Britain and Germany to the regular drone sightings happening at night in New Jersey and nearby areas, which have sparked concerns about safety and security.

Heaven forfend anyone takes the initiative and shoot the suckers out of the sky.

Teixeira's AF Unit Temporarily Loses its Intel Mission

US Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall along with AF Chief of Staff Gen. C.Q. Brown, answered questions posed by the Senate Appropriations Committee of the Air Force about Airman First Class Jack Teixeira regarding his charge of leaking sensitive, classified information to Discord. 

Usually the questions focus by the committee deals with budgetary issues, but not this time.

Chairman Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) asked Kendall and Brown, “How could this guardsman take this information and distribute it electronically for weeks, if not months, and nobody knew about it?” This was the same question being asked since the leak was discovered. 

This low-level, 21-year-old Airman was somehow privy to sensitive documents and the question is 'why' and who was responsible for what he sees.

From the Associated Press:

For top secret information across the military, there’s supposed to be accountable control officers who are responsible for recording active top secret documents and ensuring they have been either properly secured or disposed of, such as through a shredder or by burning them.

And, the intelligence unit to which Teixeira was assigned “is not currently performing its assigned intelligence mission,” according to a statement from the Air Force.

Pending further review, “The 102nd Intelligence Wing is not currently performing its assigned intelligence mission. The mission has been temporarily reassigned to other organizations within the Air Force,” the service said in a statement to The Associated Press.

In addition, the Air Force is conducting a service-wide review of how each command handles classified information, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. C.Q. Brown told members of subcommittee.

Brown seemed to downplay the notion that there was a systemwide problem or even a unit-wide problem, saying:

“He had access to some aspects based on his job as a cyber administrator. He took advantage of that access.

However, Kendall told Congress that he has directed the Air Force Inspector General to look at “anything associated with this leak that could have gone wrong” at the 102nd Intelligence Wing. That’s in addition to a military-wide review ordered by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and an investigation by the House Armed Services Committee into the matter.

So this is not over.

First female Afghan pilot requests asylum in US

In Afghanistan a woman's place is in the burqa and in the kitchen. That's because Afghan men think they're superior to their women because that's what their religion tells them.

Niloofar Rahmani, the first female airplane pilot in Afghanistan became a female icon of what a woman can accomplish in the nation's post-Taliban era, but with her fame came threats to her life. She had to go into hiding, even from some of her own relatives who would kill her for her life choice.

After three years since earning her wings, the 25-year-old Afghan air force pilot would like to start a new life in the United States and has applied for asylum. She says her life would be in danger if she returned home.

Captain Rahmani trained in the U.S. on C-130 transport planes with the U.S. Air Force in 2015. The course just ended Thursday and she was due to return to her homeland on Saturday. 

She will not be leaving for now, as she values her life, and getting stoned to death isn't her thing. 

"I would love to fly for my country--that is what I always wanted to do," she said. "But I'm scared for my life."

She trained at Little Rock AFB in Arkansas.

It stands to reason that Rahmani knew before starting her training that going back to Afghanistan would be dangerous for her. Perhaps it was her plan all along to seek asylum once completing her training. Even if that is the case, it would be cruel of us to return her to the medieval Islamic society that cannot tolerate a woman's independence and self-reliance.

I say grant her asylum--but verify her background.
