Coast Guard Commandant fired over DEI focus, border failures, and anemic recruitment

Well, President Trump had his first day back at the POTUS gig and he ended up terminating Coast Guard Commandant

In a Fox News exclusive, the Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard has been terminated over concerns about the border, poor recruitment, and an "erosion of trust," a senior DHS official confirmed.

Adm. Linda Lee Fagan has been terminated by the Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Benjamine Huffman, the official said.

While there is no evidence that Adm. Fagan is a member of the LGBTQ+1 etc. community, she has been part of discussions for improving diversity and inclusion within the Coast Guard, especially concerns about the treatment of this community, but this is not proof that she is a lesbian like the Los Angeles Fire Chief, Kristin Crowley, who wears it on her sleeve.

Fagan has demonstrated insufficient leadership qualities, operational clusterfracks, and an inability to advance the strategic objectives of the Coast Guard. She is more concerned with ensuring more women are put at the helm of ships, rather than ensuring qualified individuals are put there, regardless of what hangs or doesn't hang between their legs.

These problems include the failure to address border security threats, insufficient leadership in recruitment and retention, mismanagement in acquiring key acquisitions such as icebreakers and helicopters, excessive focus on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and an "erosion of trust" over the mishandling and cover-up of Operation Fouled Anchor, Fox News reported.

Fagan served as the 27th Commandant of the Coast Guard starting on June 1st, 2022. She was tasked with overseeing all global Coast Guard operations and 42,000 active-duty, 7,000 reserve and 8,700 civilian personnel, as well as the support of 21,000 Coast Guard Auxiliary volunteers.
