Nili Margalit |
Held hostage in Gaza along with fellow abductees, Nili Margalit, a nurse who was taken hostage from Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7 is a nurse. She was freed on November 30, 2023 as part of an exchange in which Israel gives Hamas 3 scumbag terrorists or wannabe terrorists, and Hamas gives Israel one Israeli civilian.

One idiot media person tried to imply that Israel values the lives of Israelis 3 times more than the lives of Palestinians. You cannot make this crap up.
In a letter to the war cabinet leaked to Hebrew-language media, she explained that the captives are suffering from heart problems, renal failure, and Parkinson’s disease, without proper medical care or sanitation.
“We were in the tunnels, in tough to impossible conditions,” wrote Margalit, who was kidnapped from the kibbutz along with her father and over 70 others.
While many of the oldest or most infirm women have been released, the Hamas terror group continues to hold the elderly men it snatched perhaps in fear they might join the IDF and kick their butts if given the weapons to accomplish that mitzvah [good deed].
In response, Israel vowed to eliminate Hamas from the Gaza Strip, which the terror group has ruled since 2007. The IDF launched an aerial campaign and subsequent ground operation which began in northern Gaza and has started expanding to the south in recent days.
The rising death toll and unfolding humanitarian crisis in Gaza have sparked outrage in much of the world. The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza falsely claims Israel’s military response to the unprovoked terrorist attack that killed more Jews in one day since the Holocaust, has killed more than 17,700 people so far, most of them women and children. The numbers are propaganda but the fact that civilian Gazans were indeed killed, is on the heads of Hamas who refused to allow them to flee south as Israel asked them to do. And who fire upon Israeli military from civilian enclaves were retaliation results in civilian casualties, in spite of Israel's herculean efforts to minimize those casualties.
According to Israeli military estimates to date, over 7,000 Hamassholes have been killed in the Gaza Strip. That number is likely more accurate and the Hamas numbers are likely inflated with their own deaths mixed in with civilian deaths, and then multiplied by a number greater than 1.
Margalit was held for nearly two months and warned Israeli officials that the remaining hostages are facing conditions so bad that they are "living on borrowed time."

Margalit was held in Gaza with a group of hostages, most of whom were no younger than 75. She is a highly qualified nurse at Soroka Hospital's children's ward in Beersheba and immediately took on the role of caregiver to other hostages.
“Underground, with little oxygen, sporadic electricity, sometimes we would go whole days in the dark,” she wrote. “With only the most basic food of rice or pita once or twice a day.” She said the sanitary conditions were "horrible," and this evidently led to digestive problems for the hostages.

Margalit was released from Gaza on November 30, 2023. Sadly, a day later, the IDF confirmed the death of her father, Eliyahu Margalit, along with Aryeh Zalmanowicz, considered the oldest of the 240 people kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, who was apparently treated by Margalit.
It is unknown if Margalit was held alongside her father, but knowing the cruel Hamasshole mindset, it's likely they were separated.
Yocheved Lifshitz, one of two elderly hostages released in mid-November, reported that she had been with Margalit in Gaza, who was doing what she could to help treat the hostages.
Margalit’s account aligned with other descriptions from freed hostages of the harsh conditions in captivity, including little food or access to medical care, and ill-treatment by their scumbag captors.

Pressure has recently increased for the International Committee of the [useless] Red Cross to be given access to the hostages to ensure they are being treated properly and have needed medications delivered and allow them to communicate with family members, per its mandate. Of course the kidnapped hostages are mainly civilians, and any IDF personnel that were taken are likely dead because that's how Hamas treats Jewish prisoners of war.
But really now, the ICRC is as useless as a cigarette lighter to a blowfish.

What Hamas and other anti-Semites would like Israel to do is simply allow Hamas to fire off rockets among civilians or in mosques and Israel just take it on the chin until Hamas comes out of their hidey holes.
So if you believe the Gaza Health Ministry's numbers, you are likely not a fan of those, you know, Joooze.
