Five people were shot on campus of Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD on Tuesday evening, four of them are students. Police warned residents to shelter in place during the "active shooter situation."
The cops alerted the public of an active shooter situation along the 1700 block of Argonne Drive, which is near the campus of the historically black university. The shooting began just after 10:00 p.m.
“We’re asking everyone to shelter in place and avoid the area,” the Baltimore Police Department wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
None of the wounds are life threatening, officials stated.
It's likely that the shooter fired from a dorm room on campus, according to local CBS affiliate WJZ.
An image is seen in the photo at the top of the page of a shattered window with a bullet hole posted by a WJZ reporter was confirmed by cops to be the dorm window where the gunman was shooting from.
At least four people were shot on the campus of the Maryland college, Baltimore Police spokesperson Vernon Davis told the Baltimore Banner.
