Bobby "Hunter" Biden begged his for lover, the widow of his dead brother Beau, for money to get his drug-addled ass into rehab, then six weeks later went out and bought a handgun in which he lied on a federal form that he had never used or been drug addicted.
The newspaper New York Post discovered a four and a half minute recording on Hunter's hard drive that he abandoned at a computer repair shop in Delaware. The discovery comes the same week the feds said they believe they have enough evidence on Biden to charge him for making false statements in order to buy the .38-caliber pistol.
Of course they do, but so what? The Bidens are judgment-proof, just like the Clintons.
The controversial phone call on Aug. 31, 2018 reveals Hunter being heard pleading with Hallie to hand over his credit card points to pay for “rehab.” But Hallie knew that the chances of Hunter willfully checking himself into drug rehab was as likely as him joining the priesthood and becoming forever thereafter celibate. She didn't believe him and refused to spot him his credit card points unless he told her where he was planning to go and allow her to make the arrangements.
Instead she asked him to check himself back into The View — a luxury detox facility [named after a group of airhead tv personalities] in Los Angeles, which he had recently left.
“You’re being an asshole. Go back to The View. You’re not ready right now. Go to The View,” she said on the recording.

Whoopi Goldberg said she would welcome Hunter with open arms or something, not realizing that it was a drug facility and not the tv show.
“It’s my money to pay for rehab … Please give me my points. They’re mine. I earned them. I paid for them. They’re my points and I want to pay for rehab with them,” he whined. “It’s literally stealing from me. But It’s stealing from me. Hallie, it’s stealing from me.
“It’s $38,000, it’s 842,000 points, and I calculated it and it’s all my points,” the dickweed begged.

[Fun Fact: Hunter only uses prostitutes and drug dealers who take credit cards.]
When Hallie pressed for details, Hunter declined to name the “rehab” facility.
“I can use [the points] to use the place, the place I’m going. I don’t want you to know where I’m going. It’s very important.”

Hunter then played a familiar card — his family. He suggested she give the points to his uncle James, or to his braincell-starved father — former Vice President Biden.
“Ok here, how about this … give it to my uncle Jimmy. What’s the difference? … Give it to my dad. Give it to my dad.”
When she still refused, he threatened to blow up the card — by lying to his bank about past purchases.
The intense conversation came just weeks before Biden purchased the infamous gun pictured above.
“I’m going to say fraud on every single thing because they are my points,” Hunter warned.
Hallie shot back, “Oh my god, don’t threaten me again!”

In the days prior to the call to Hallie, Hunter appeared to have completed a course of rehabilitation at The View. The facility usually charges $4,000 a day but frequent "flyers" like Hunter apparently got a bargain rate of $2,500.69 per day. [Don't ask.]
But as expensive as The View is, the treatment for Hunter didn't take as it was followed by extensive drug and alcohol abuse which also involved using the navels of prostitutes from which to snort the drugs and drink the booze.
“I hesitate to write you this. Because your response is unpredictable. But I can’t help but to plead to you to get well,” Hunter’s sister Ashley Biden wrote to him on Sept. 1, 2018. “Our father is devastated. And his personality has fundamentally changed without you by his side.”
Three days later Hunter wrote to a whore: “Can you pick up vodka? I want you [sic] me naked and fun as fast as possible,” texts from the hard drive show.
Lying on a federal gun purchase form is a felony, with a maximum prison sentence of 10 years. But legal experts said that may be the least of Hunter’s worries.
“As a first offender, Hunter could avoid jail time entirely under such a charge or plead to a short period of incarceration,” said Jonathan Turley, a professor at George Washington University Law School.
Laptop revelations of “millions allegedly garnered through influence peddling” in shady foreign deals is a bigger concern for the Bidens, Prof. Turley said.
“The laptop is a target rich environment for any prosecutor,” he said. “It takes an amazing marksman to hit the gun charge while missing other potential crimes.”

The US has a ruling class that seems to be above the law, at least for many of them. It's really about time for Hunter Biden, and even Hillary and Bill Clinton, to be held accountable for what appears to be criminal behavior, but the chances of this are remote.
