A black woman in Mississippi who loves her kid so much that when a female umpire made a call she disagreed with, she went onto the field and punched the ump in the face. Not only did she show her child how much she loves her with her behavior and her shirt, she taught her kid that violence causes silence.
Police said that Kiara Nichelle Thomas punched umpire Kristi Moore in the face after a youth softball game and left the her with bruising, abrasions and a shiner.
According to reports, the Mother of the Year was previously asked to leave the youth game for her potty mouth screaming. She waited for the end of the game and attacked as Ms. Moore was leaving the field.
Moore told WLBT-TV that she has been an umpire for ten years and she was filling in for a friend that day.
"It’s ridiculous," Moore said. "The verbal abuse. And even now, the physical abuse now, at this point, and enough is enough. I also staff every USFA tournament in the state of Mississippi with umpires, and it gets harder and harder to staff these tournaments because no one wants to listen to the verbal abuse and run the risk of what happened to me happening to them."
Thomas was arrested and charged with simple assault and behavior unbecoming of Mother of the Year.

Moore took to Facebook, where she went into greater detail about her feelings on the incident. The responses she received were very supportive, but the music in the YouTube video was soothing and calming.

Thomas should have listened to the music before going to the game. She sounds like a real 'mother,' but not of the year.
