Former CNN host Chris Fredo Cuomo planned to go after Janice Dean, the Fox News meteorologist because she rightfully criticized Fredo's brother, former NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo. You see, Janice lost her husband's parents due to the governor's irresponsible mandate to transfer COVID-19 patients to nursing homes where vulnerable residents caught the virus and died. Janice was very angry and pulled no punches against Handy Andy, saying "[H]e needs to go to jail," when she appeared on "Fox & Friends."
Fredo tried to discredit Dean and allegedly referred to her as "that Fox weather bitch" in texts [showing how brilliant he is to put it in writing]. Obviously, Fredo wanted to defend his brother but the way he wanted to go about it sucked. He wanted his staffer to go after "this Fox weather bitch . . . Any help painting her as a far right crazy?"
What a decent, ethical guy.

Fredo is also believed to have taken part in calls with his brother's staff, including Melissa DeRosa, about how to destroy Dean's reputation by focusing in on her political ideology. But she's not a political person on TV--she's a meteorologist and all it did was have Fredo scratching his something or other.
Michael, 83, and Dolores Newman, 79, — the parents of Dean’s husband, Sean, known to family and friends as Mickey and Dee — died soon after Andrew's controversial policy was announced and victim's bodies were stacking up. They were living in separate nursing facilities and Mickey was going to be moving to Dee's facility but they never made it before death struck them as Andrew Cuomo had his staff write his novel about his incredible effectiveness in combating COVID-19.

Dean was appalled by Cuomo administration’s mindless March 25 directive that nursing homes could not deny admission to someone solely because they had COVID-19. The policy was expanded to cover assisted living facilities on April 7, making Andrew Cuomo one step below a cucumber.
Dean has worked at Fox since 2004, and has told her in-law’s story on the air to Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Martha MacCallum and Harris Faulkner among others, which must have greatly annoyed Fredo and Andrew.
She said on “Fox & Friends,” in March 2021, “We knew he was covering up the numbers and now we are getting more and more information and facts to prove this is true. And the fact that his top aide Melissa de Rosa was in on it to help cover up the numbers, to downplay them.”

Dean continued, “They have never apologized to the families, 15,000 that deserve an apology. The only thing the governor is going to be sorry about is that he got caught.
“You know what — he needs to go to jail and all of those around him.”
Well Fredo lost his job, his radio show, and even his book deal. Things are not looking great for him, but he might have Don Lemon to pal around with if Lemon gets squeezed out of his CNN show for unethical behavior due to his informing Jussie Smollett that the Chicago PD didn't believe his fake hate crime story.
