"Delta Karen" had other brushes with the law

Many of you have seen the video of the mask-less woman, Patricia Cornwall, 51, slapping a passenger aboard a Delta flight in a profanity-laced tirade because he wasn't wearing a mask while eating and had some responsibility for egging her on.

When her seat was blocked by a beverage cart and she was told by the flight attendant to wait and take any available seat until she passed with the cart but Cornwall became angry and said to the attendant, "Who am I. Rosa Parks?"

The man who was eating replied, "You're not black. This isn't Alabama and this isn't a bus.?

This is when Cornwall went off on him. "Put your f**king mask on," she said while not wearing a mask and not eating, "who invited you?"

The man explained, "I'm eating." He tried to stand up and confront her but the guy next to him tried to calm things down by not allowing him to get up from his seat.

The man yelled, "Sit down, Karen. You're a g**d*m Karen, sit down."

The attendant tried to stop her from any further confrontation but the man then called Cornwall a b**ch and she slapped him and then hits him with a closed fist. The man yelled, "That's assault. You're going to jail."

After landing, Cornwall was arrested and spent Christmas in jail.

Now we've learned that Patricia Cornwall has a history with law enforcement, the latest of  which was last month when she allegedly tried to fight police in Florida during a DUI arrest.

She allegedly became aggressive with cops after crashing her Nissan into a tree in Santa Rosa Beach on November 10, as per court and police records.

According to a Walton County sheriff's deputy record, “She said she was not hurt and then became belligerent.” She first refused to exit the vehicle or give the cops her name, and when she finally got out, she started "going after" the first responders.

“Once we stopped her she tried to fight us,” the deputy wrote. “At that point, she was detained for her safety and ours."

A tow truck driver had called deputies to the scene of the crash and saw that Cornwall was attempting to reverse the vehicle.

“Upon approaching the defendant for some assistance he detected an odor of alcohol emitting from the defendant [sic] breath,” the arrest report said.

When she continued to reverse the car, the man contacted law enforcement, cops said.

Her speech was slurred and her face was flushed; she refused to take a breathalyzer and failed a sobriety test.

She was arrested for driving under the influence and careless driving and is scheduled to appear on January 10. Cornwall had previously been on probation for drinking and driving in Los Angeles and there is also a domestic violence protection order against her filed by her sister-in-law.

She had also been arrested on Dec. 11, 2020, in Los Angeles and later pleaded no contest to having a Blood Alcohol Level of 0.08 percent or more. She was sentenced to 3 full years of summary probation and ordered to complete 100 hours of community service, according to court records.

In addition, she had to enroll in and complete a three-month first-offender alcohol and drug education counseling program, which is different from an anger management course.

Also in Dec. 2020, her sister-in-law, Monica Cummings, filed for a domestic violence protection against her and court documents reveal that she has a history of violence and erratic behavior. She allegedly sent a voice message to Ms. Cummngs threatening her with "You are dead." And while messaging in present tense, it was apparently meant to imply the not too distant future tense..

“She has bipolar tendencies and paranoia,” Cummings wrote. “She believes ‘we are with the government and I fear for my life and my children.”

Cummings’ order of protection against Cornwall was granted in January, records show.

FUN FACT: Cornwall was a former NFL cheerleader for the Los Angeles Raiders.

Regarding the most recent incident on Delta Airlines, Cornwall was arrested at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and later taken into custody by the FBI.

This is not being considered a White Face Mask Crime.
