BREAKING: Biden admin tells trapped Americans in Afghanistan it "cannot guarantee" their safety to airport

The optics just got worse for the Biden-Harris-Obama-Jarrett-AOC-Sanders administration. They just told Americans that they cannot guarantee safe passage into the Kabul airport in order for them to be evacuated. Sure, Biden said they made all contingency plans, but it sure sounds like the plans were a cluster-fart. 

So, American citizens, you're on your own, just like the folks in the country you're stranded in.

The administration sent the following message to those trapped in Afghanistan:

To American Citizens,

Thank you for registering your request to be evacuated from Afghanistan. The U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan has confirmed that an undefined number of U.S. govern1nentprovided fligl1ts will begin soon. Please make your way to Hamid Karzai International Airport at this time.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR SECURITY AS YOU MAKE THIS TRIP.

A spokesperson for the State Department told CNN: 

“The US message to Americans in Afghanistan right now is to shelter in place until they get communications from the US embassy which tell them when they should come to the airport and where exactly to go.”
