Iran panel okays bill that will increase enrichment for weaponry

The Iranian "Facial Hair Chorus Line"

An Iranian panel known as the Guardian Council, signed off on a bill that will stop UN inspections and allow them to speed up uranium enrichment designed for use in nuclear warfare. They sent the bill to Iran's President Hassan Rouhani, who opposes the measure.

Rouhani had five working days to officially sign off on the bill to make it executable. However, on Wednesday he expressed his opposition to it and said it would be "harmful" to diplomacy aimed at restoring the 2015 nuclear deal and easing U.S. sanctions.

He's correct. All that Iran has to do is stop enriching uranium and agree to stop their program of nuclear development and the U.S. would relax our sanctions. But the original deal allows Iran to go return to their original nuclear ambitions because the deal was firmed up by idiots like John Kerry and supported by Obama and Biden.

Iran's proposed bill got teeth after their top nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was assassinated last month. But it also reflects a rivalry between Rouhani and hard-line lawmakers in government majority and favor a more confrontational approach to the Western nonbelievers.

This bill would immediately halt UN inspections and require the government to resume enrichment of uranium to 20% if the EU fails to provide Iran with relief from US sanctions on their oil and banking sectors.

But if Rouhani goes ahead and approves the bill, it wouldn't much matter since it's Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei who has the final say in everything. Rouhani is merely Iran's Prince Charles.

Tuesday’s approval by lawmakers is nothing more than a show of defiance after Fakhrizadeh was killed in an attack Iranian officials have blamed on the Jews, as usual.
