First there were Pelosi, Bill de Blasio, the Cuomo bros, Gavin Newsom, Muriel Bowser, Lori Lightfoot, Gretchen Whitmer, Denver's Mayor Hancock, the LA County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, San Jose Mayor Sam Licardo,
Now there's the mayor of Austin, Texas, Steve Adler, getting caught violating his own rules on COVID-19. The one thing they have in common: they are all Democrats.
If you are a Democrat, the rules apparently do not apply to you. If you're at a Black Lives Matter demonstration, that's fine--the COVID virus respects your right to protest whether peacefully or not.
The elitism of the Democrats is incredible.
Last week Texas Judge Bill Gravell (probably a D) paid a $1,000 fine for violating his own coronavirus stay-at-home order to attend his grandson’s birthday party in April.

Adler told his community to stay home to stay safe, while he flew to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in a private jet. So not only is he a hypocrite regarding his mandate with the virus, his carbon footprint, his pollution of the planet, was also sky high.
His words: "Stay home if you can ... this is not the time to relax,” he posted to Facebook in a clip. He didn't mention that he was in a Cabo timeshare when he told others to stay home. He flew there with eight other guests.
To add hypocrisy to hypocrisy, the Mexico excursion came one day after Adler hosted a wedding for his daughter with 20 potential COVID-19 spreaders at a hotel in Austin.
At wedding time, Austin was under a Stage 3 advisory, recommending no more than 10 people gather.

Adler said he’d consulted with Dr. Mark Escott, Austin’s top Democratic health authority, and held the wedding outdoors. He said that guests had to get a COVID-19 test prior to attending.
Do you believe him?
Several wedding guests flew to Austin from other U.S. locations. The next day, eight of the potential covid-spreaders flew with the mayor to Cabo.
"It's not perfect,” Adler said this week. “Obviously there are infections that could happen. But what we did was stay compliant with the rules."

And if you believe that, I have a covid cure I'd like to sell you.
The following day after Adler flew to his vacation, Dr. Esper (D) issued a warning: “If you are going to go out to a restaurant, go out with your family, the people who live in your household, not the family or friends who don’t live in your household. And start to decrease those travels outside of your home that are not necessary.”
Adler (D) said in a statement that he recorded in Cabo of his trip: “We were in a lower risk ‘Yellow’ level than now. It is always safest to stay home. However, we aren’t asking people never to venture out. We ask everyone to be as safe as possible in what they do. My family and I are no exception and we’ll continue to do as I ask of our community [now that you caught me].”

You will never catch people like Adler showing off by being the example of what they demand of you.

There should be a special place in prison for people like this.
