Runner-up for 'World's Worst Mayor' calls the riots 'limited protest activity'

NY City Mayor Comrade Bill de Blasio's daughter, Chiara, 25, was arrested at a Manhattan protest on Saturday night and taken into custody at 10:30 p.m. in Lower Manhattan. She allegedly was blocking traffic on Broadway and refused to move.

“That was a real hotspot, police cars were getting burned there, people were throwing and yelling, fighting with cops. There were thousands of people in that area at that time,” a source told the New York Post.

She gave the address of the Mayor's residence known as Gracie Mansion, but didn't tell police that she is the mayor's daughter.

The arrest came about an hour before the mayor told protesters and rioters that it was time to “go home.” 

Yeah, sure. They were certainly going to listen to this incompetent idiot.

Over Sunday night, the looting and immense destruction continued as dozens of businesses were completely destroyed and anarchy prevailed. This was the third night of planned chaos and riots which began in earnest before 11 p.m. Sunday.

The riots came amidst the COVID-19 pandemic but rioters didn't seem to care about social distancing, nor did Democrat mayors throughout the country.

De Blasio referred to the looting, burning of buildings and police cars, the throwing of objects at police a "limited protest activity." I guess it would require grenade launchers and tanks for this moron to call it a serious riot. But maybe he was trying to cover for his daughter and imply that she was innocently arrested.

The person throwing the first punch or first object should have immediately been apprehended and arrested. Same goes for the second person. Once it became clear that this behavior wouldn't be tolerated, it would eventually come under control. And maybe the mayor's daughter wouldn't have a police record.

I would say that New Yorkers got what they deserve because they voted for this tall cretin, but that isn't fair to the good citizens who live there and protest peacefully or who simply want to get by.

 I suspect they will vote the douche nozzle out of office in the next city election and if they don't, then maybe they do deserve him.

Meanwhile, the country's incompetent local leaders who haven't been able to deal with this situation, are blaming President Trump for their impotence.
